Anyone bought VGF direct in the last few weeks?

I emailed my guide twice over the past couple weeks about adding on a small # of points and it's been crickets. I was expecting a waiting list, but she hasn't even replied about that. Has anyone bought points here lately? Last time we added on was back in July or so. I know it went off the add-on tool after VGF2.0 was announced, but they had still been selling points as they came available.

Vgf sales are on hold until vgf2 goes on sale from what I was told

Was that a recent change? We have a December UY so I was hoping to quickly add a few more points to take advantage of the 2020 points and get them banked since we are using up all our 2021 points (and some of 2022) for a December trip.

You can try but I’d still wager you will pay more than if you wait for vgf2

I was told by my guide in August that they weren’t selling VGF right now but he would email me when they began selling points again. I haven’t heard anything since nor was I offered to be put on a wait list.

I also want to add that I have read quite a few reports of people being told at several resorts that they have no Dec UY points in stock.

So, in addition to what seems to be not allowing points to be sold, it’s doubtful you would get them to seek you the UY you want.

I'd bet that base price for VGF will stay the same but when VGF2 hits market they will give posh incentives for 150+. So not sure it'll hit small contracts so much.

Hm, I guess we got in just under the wire with our last add-on. I looked back at my back-and-forth with my guide from June and at that time they were still selling points as they became available (although she said there was a ton of demand and we did have to go on the waitlist before the points became available). I hope the change in policy indicates that they will start selling VGF2 sooner rather than later. We are hoping to add about 45-60 more points, so we won't be adding enough to get incentives anyways.
