Has anyone been on the Ireland trip??? I really wanted to go on this one but was out voted - we will be on the Southwest tour this year!

Bumping this up....anyone????
We would soooo love to do this, but need to hear some feedback first!!! :)

My wife and I went on the Ireland trip last month. ( July 1st - 8th )
IT WAS INCREDIBLE!!!!!
The tour was well set up and our guides were very great. There were 34 of us total on the trip so we met some great people.
The hotels were top knotch (the castle is out of this world, we wish we could stay there for 8 extra days!!!!)

I could go on forever, by the way the beer is sooooo good, and my wife and I are members so we used some of our points for this trip.

I'm so glad you had an incredible trip. Of all the ABD trips, this is the one my DH would like to do most. Do you mind a few questions? Were there children on your trip? If so, did they seem to have fun? I have a 12, 9 and 5 yos. and thinking about this for next year. They would obviously be a year older then.
Was it easy to find things to do in your "on your own time"?
I would love to hear more! :)

There were about 14 kids on the trip (out of 34) and they did seem to have a great time. As always with Disney, there were seperate things to do sometimes for the "Junior Adventures" as they were called. Seperate night activities and during some of the would be kid boring stuff (touring old castle ruins) the kids were pulled off to do scavenger hunts and what not.

The on your own time was great and gave a good mix of group time and alone / family time. Plenty to do if you wanted to, the guides were very knowledgable on the surrounding areas and places to go.

4loveoflife, I wonder if you can tell me if the trip was at all "a rushed feeling"? DH is against any kind of tour where you are on a strict schedule. He wants to be able to wander......would you recommend this adventure?
BTW , I'm so glad to hear you had a wonderful trip. I can't wait to get to the Emerald Isle!:goodvibes:goodvibes

I would love to hear anyone's report on the Ireland trip. My DH and I will be on the adults trip in Sept.

Hi there!

Glad to hear someone else is scheduled for the Sept. 6 Ireland trip. My DD#2 (age 25) and I are booked. Waiting to get final "stuff" from our TA.
See you in Dublin!
