Anyone At Wdw Now?

Leaving in 2 days...........wondering how the crowds are and temps too? Warm enough after dark for shorts?

I am here right now at Pop Century. We arrived on Sunday, 2/25 and leave Saturday 03/03.

Weather has been nice and warm. Some times a big part of the days is cloudy but very little rain overall. We actually had a tornado watch down here tonight as part of that HUGE storm that's going thru the south-east. But so far the skies are clear and the moon is clearly visible.

My only room request was non-smoking. I wanted a ground floor room and maybe near a pool. We are not preferred. I never gave those requests to Disney.

We got -- a ground floor room, right directly at the head of the bowling pin pool. Love the room location. No complaints at all in that dept.

The crowds have been odd to say the least. The parks seem crowded, but for the most part, the lines for attractions haven't exceeded 20 minutes. I saw 30 minutes on Mission Space, 20 on Test Track and 20 on Soarin. I know at various points the lines had to be longer.. but we didn't see it.

Where the crowds have been killing us are in lines at the food service locations etc. MGM was absolutely NUTs the other night. Standing room only Fantasmic.. yet at the same time.. RnR was 30 minute wait and ToT was only 20 minutes.. I waited way longer at Toluca Turkey Legs than I did for any of the rides. Go figure.

We went on ToT and took the standby line.. and it was really more like 7 minutes.

Weird. Haven't figured that all out yet.
