Anybody Looked At Mousesavers This Morning

will the people who already have a package at a value be able to take advantage of this offer?? I am doing a split stay with 4 of the 7 being at a value do I am hoping I can switch when and if this is released.

I don't think any offer could be better than what I already have! I'm going to POFQ 12/9 through 12/12 w/Florida play 3 days pass, for $276 pp.

If I get a better offer than that, this will be the best Birthday ever!

Well congrats to everyone who will be able to take advantage of this special. Unfortunately we won't be able to. Oh well. We're staying at CR and have no interest in changing to value resort.

It is usually never limited to value resorts. The "lead in" price they are talking about is always based on a value resort in value season and always includes a family of 4 (2A, 1J and 1C).

I have seen in the past...our June discount in fact, be based on a 5 night stay, but you could still stay only 3 nights. In fact, the disclaimer even said 3 night min.....even though it was based on a 5 night.

Thanks! That works for me, we're checking in on Oct 28th.

jrogers345 - it doesn't mean that a similar % off won't be available in deluxes. We aren't staying at a value either. Often it's extended to available rooms at other levels.

typically with specials like this, the ad "starts" w/value resort rates because they look better on paper but it is open to guests staying in deluxe resorts as well...

It would be nice if WDW would give us AP holder a break. What is the point of calling it the BRP if they never give you a lower rate. Why not just say this is what you are getting so be happy with it.

If there are only two of us can we stay twice as long?

Hey, if we are guessing what might or might not be why not shoot for the moon? :confused3

Okay I know I won't truly know the answer to this until thursday but here's a question for those 'in the know'....

We are staying 8 nights and wanting to do a MYW+dining pack with only 1 day tickets. I guess if this discount is based on the package as a whole with the x+1 formula then we will probably not get any benefit out of this deal. Am I on the right track here?

This note is for Mary of Mousesavers!! I just read your recent update!!

In response to the posters suppositions about why your tidbit was posted, I read their suggestion about driving traffic to your site up as pure fun (toungue in cheek) and just playful supposition due to the anticipation of this offer!! I doubt they were accusing you of unethical website practices!!!

Although I can't speak categorically for the original poster of that comment, I truly hope that was the way they meant that comment. I hope I'm joining everyone in saying we all love your sight and live and breath by your updates to get the best deal for our next Disney vacation!!

Carol

Sounds like we might not be able to get the full (or any?) discount if we just buy a one day base ticket planning to use tickets from a prior trip.

I already have a AAA discounted package. I'll have to see if this package is better.

We don't know how that discount will be broken down. To use your 5 night stay example from a few posts ago, the savings was $162 for 5 nights. We don't know how that $162 is divided up. Is it $32.40 off per night? is it $15 off per night and $X of per adult ticket then $x per child ticket? So I have no idea what to expect in terms of what pricing will be like for moderates and deluxes or even for values for longer than X nights.

I asked if this was a discount off of the room portion and was told no, it was a discount off of the package as a whole. So I don't feel like there is a way to accurately predict as of now. In past years the package discounts have been easy to predict because they were either tied to a room only discount and the package just had regular ticket prices built on top of that room discount or it was a buy 5 get 2 free (or buy 4 get 3 free) thing where it was easy to figure out. This MYW pricing makes it unclear.

Even if there is no applicable discount, I'm sure more excited about my trip.

Thanks. I'm new to all this discount info and didn't comprehend "lead in" rate.

Has anybody taken a guess at what % this is off of regular package price?

Travel dates are 10/23 - 12/25. Booking dates are 9/29 - 10/22.

All subject to change. ;)

If this comes available 9/29, when will it be posted? that morning or earlier? Will it be posted on WDW website? When can you start calling to book that day? I'm new to all these discounts and need to be educated on the whole process. :teacher:

I think the easiest way to find out what the deal is would be to check this thread. There have been times when new deals have appeared...after I had checked the sites that very morning....only to log into the DIS boards and see announcements. Then when I rechecked the sites, there they were! There are lots of OCD types (I mean, aren't we all just a little...thats what makes a good DISer) and many TA's that will notify the rest of us when something shows up.

I've heard that CRO and TAs generally are aware/have access to new deals the day before they are posted on WDW's website...but that wasn't the case with the new resident room only rates. It just showed up all at once...but ppl were expecting something at that point.

Anyhow...my point is...you won't have any trouble finding out precisely what the new deal is and chances are, you'll recieve a better explaination of it and suggestions on how to best work it to your situation here on the boards.

Here's hoping it will benefit all those in the know! :wave2:

Quick question - Do you absolutely have to stay at one resort for the package, or can you combine a split stay with the tickets into a package?

Had my heart set on splitting the stay this trip, but will have to consider the package even if we cannot split the stay.

Anybody have any experience with this?

Oh, and do the discount %'s vary with your choice of resort, based on room availability? For instance, might the discount be a higher % off at the AKL, as opposed to the Poly, which is always a very popular resort? Or will the discount % be the same across all deluxe resorts?

Thanks to all those who have posted and speculated and especially to Lollipop Mom for the details you have managed to give us.

We went camping this weekend and in checking the boards tonight - look what I missed! :cheer2: I wonder if the "deal" will be released on the 29 - that's my mom's birthday and since we are all making the DW trip for their 50th anniversary - that would be too cool! :cool1:
Keeping our fingers crossed in hopes that the deal will include POR in November!

I am just waiting and hoping this is a dream come true package as will be there for nine nights in Dec.- So lets all hope together :cheer2:
