Anybody Looked At Mousesavers This Morning

Is this strange? I tried checking what was available for our dates in Nov. and nothing was available in any of the deluxe resorts. (We already have a room in the Contemporary. ) Could they be saving rooms for the new deal?

There are NO deluxes available for our dates in December either. :confused3

just wanted to subscribe. anything that can save me money on the dec trip i will take. I am really hoping for free dining!! or some kind of ticket discount

My TA is Emily at The Magic For Less. I had to email her about something else anyway so I just mentioned the rumor. I doubt she emailed everyone about it since it is still just a rumor. It did make me feel good to know that she knew what I was talking about though. LOL

I just logged onto Mousesavers and my heart skipped a beat.... the top had changed! Unfortunately, it was something about shopping, and just below it was the SAME old message about the little birdy who doesn't give us details....

I gotta get back to studying, and quit refreshing that darn page! :rotfl:

Refusing to book rack rate in order to hold off for a deal?? NOT impossible. When I worked retail (multiple co.s) we would hold on to items that we knew were going to be advertised for a "special rate". We're no dummies! How would you feel if you saw something offered at an amazing price, went to that retailer when they opened (the DAY of the discount) only to be told that the item had sold out at full price weeks ago?? Retailers spend ALOT of money advertising to bring customers in....they don't want disgruntled ppl leaving b/c they weren't able to provide an advertised deal....hence the invention of rainchecks.

I don't think its impossible to believe that disney has blocked off "chunks" of rooms for a future promotion. However, it is more likely, with a package promotion, Disney is MOST interested in unloading empty rooms...in this case its more likely to be value rooms than deluxes.

Okay...done some number crunching AND here is my current best guess: discounted dining plan (an attempt to increase occupancey.......BUT mostly to get ppl hooked on the dining plan w/o overcrowding restaurants....(how likely are you to spend $100/day for the dining plan if there are a million people there doing the same?) So..since the price of the plan is going up next year...mabey they are offering a rock bottom price to get more ppl "hooked" and "turned on." Here we go: rack rate room, base passes, and a special price of $13.99 per adult per day for the dining plan....a 60% savings! So...what do you think? My only question is....if this is close to the deal...what will they offer for a childrens rate?

I don't know about anyone else but I TRULY am going out of mind. I need to eat dinner, take a shower, get to bed and pray that we know what this entails tomorrow morning. I really can't take much more speculation. I'm using the dancing banana because I'm headed in that direction...

Ok, now everyone raise their right hand and swear........ that when it comes out, and it isn't what you wanted,(free meals, military, after Dec...etc) you won't be disappointed.....ok maybe just a little, but just a little :sunny: :sunny: :earsgirl:

I can't stand it!!! I keep checking mousesavers 100 times per day!

My TA emailed me at 11:00 am today and said:
There is supposed to be a discounted package coming out for your
dates on Wednesday. If the price is lower, of course I will convert your
present package.

Wednesday?!?!?!?! I have to wait until WEDNESDAY!!!!!

My brain won't take it..........

I have been reading this whole thread and I don't think I have ever seen so many clever minds at work! You guys are great! :cheer2:

I guess I am stuck like the rest of you hoping for a good deal for our Christmas trip. I'll keep my fingers crossed and hopefully we'll all be doing a dance soon!

I read wednesday on this thread somewhere. I CAN"T WAIT THAT LONG! no way i just can't do it. I've already called WDW once yesterday and today and reset my home page to mousesavers. We only have a few more days before we can't get BRP for our dates.

 Chicken Little.... Good thinking, you guys are awesome detectives!

Well, I went ahead and lined up the ADR's for our trip in December just in case the free dining or discounted dining comes back.

When the cast member asked if I was on the dining plan, I told her not yet, but that we may very well be on it soon as I've heard rumors about a possible upcoming discount on dining.

She told me she couldn't give me details, but said 'Something's coming soon so keep you ears to the ground'.

I might as well throw up now if I have to wait until Wednesday. Fingers crossed!

Adding more fuel to the fire....

I called last night to move around some ADR's and when asked if I was staying onsite I told her not yet. She asked me what that meant and I told her we were thinking about changing to onsite if a discount comes out this week like we had been hearing and she told me that she would encourage me to go ahead and make my ressie and then they could change it over on Thursday. I asked her if that meant Thursday was the day that they were releasing the info and she said , Oops, did I say thursday???? I meant whenever we release a code IF we release a code. She also told me to get my dining lined up as if we were going to be on the dining plan because she felt certain we would be.

LOL, gotta love the CM speculation! (even if it's not as good as ours :teeth: )

Disney_1derland

Yes that is more fuel to the fire, but thanks for posting.

It's killing me.... Friday I am supposed to have my trip paid in full.... this is killing me. Did I mention it's killing me????? :rotfl2:
