Anybody Looked At Mousesavers This Morning

Oh gosh, I'm on pins and needles. I haven't heard from my DU agent yet, and the suspense is killing me!

And to think, I booked through a TA so that I wouldn't stress! Jokes on me!

DId dining every show up on the reservation review on line, mine isnt showing but she did include it in the pricing over the phone and I dont remember it showing on my old reservation on line, does anyone know? I dont really want to call right now since it is so busy?

I noticed the same thing online this morning. I ended up waiting on the phone for :30mins and the CM did verify that yes I had the dining plan.

I just got off the phone after holding for about 20 minutes. I already had the WL booked room only. I was able to cancel that ressie and book the package. Overall we saved about $170.00. We had booked what we wanted and would have gone even with no discount, so whatever discount we got was just an added bonus

Ok, my AAA agent is out today but I got a different lady that helped me and I have booked nov. 10-20 at pop century for 2 ad. 1 jr. 1 ch. and i got.....

10 day hoppers
and dining
for $2,634.42!!

I was already booked and paid in full with a AAA discount which I reserved last Friday before the info on mousesavers was posted about a new discount coming. But they only charged me $10.00 to change!! I was expecting a $50.00 change fee!!
I am so excited this is a savings of roughly $300.00 and the way I had it before was package for 9 nights and then room only the last night so I have to do my math to have an exact number but it is right around $300.

By the way while I was waiting for my AAA office to open I called disney myself for a few prices thinking about upgrading to a mod or deluxe. and they lady had NOTHING for my whole stay of 10 nights at any mod or deluxe unless I wanted to do a split stay. And since I hate splitting my stay I saved money buy not having to be tempted to upgrade!!

No package for me. With a package I would pay 727 and some change for 5 nights at ASSports during value season and a 2 day base for everyone.

The way I have it now I would be paying 27 more with the package. I have an AAA room only discount, 2 days left on one of my kids pass for them so I only need a 2 day for me, hubby and the other child. That comes out to be 700 so in reality its better for me to pay 27 less and not get an extra 2 day pass I don't really need.

But if we didn't have that extra 2 day pass it would be a good deal.

Did anyone get this offer with a stay in the Contemporary??? My TA called and was told there are none available for my stay - 11/18-11/22. I'm talking about applying to reserv. I have - not making new.

Sold out? in 2 hrs? How many were alloted then for the CR? Now that's disappointing.

From the look at this board, most people are modifying an existing - right?

I just "booked" online to see if the amounts would be the same and they were. 4 nights 12/4-8 at CSR with 10 day everything - $1222.64. I also checked 11/30-12/4 to see if the amount would be different if all of my travel dates were within the time frame and the amount didn't change! So Yippee!!! I guess I really did get the discount for the whole stay!

Here's a couple of ways to look at my breakdown:

If I pay full price for tickets - $803.06 which leaves $419.58 for the room which works out to be $94.08/night plus tax (instead of $134.00)

I I pay full price for the room - $597.64 which leaves $625.00 for the tickets which works out to be $293.43/person plus tax for 10 day, ph, options and no exp. (instead of $377.00)

I think the $94.08 room rate will appeal to dh better.....

The discount was not available for Animal Kingdom Lodge or Wilderness Lodge, 12/16 - 12/23. I did not have her check other deluxes.

I was told it IS a room discount.

However, I paid $111/night under this discount for 12/16-23 for POR and I see above a rate of $94 for CSR for 12/4-8. Both are moderates so I would have thought the same price if the discount was available?

So, either the discount differs in amount by date OR differs by resorts that otherwise would have the same price.

I waited a half hour on the phone, and no discount.

We're booked room only AAA at WL 11/9-11/15. No rooms available during those dates at any deluxe. She would not/could not apply any codes to the existing reservation. Congrats to those of you that got a CM that applied the codes to your old ressies. I'll try to call again later

My TA got the same answer - no rooms available at CR. Now other people are getting the code to existing reserv? After he talked to me, he was suppose to call them again and try. Told him people ARE getting it applied to existing AND are able to get it for blackout dates if beginning date of falls in right dates. Haven't heard back yet...

Just heard back from TA.. was told it was sold out for my dates. Said CM's there.. depends on who you talk to and "how" you word your questions. Will try again asking the same questions in a different way.

Oh well, doesn't look like it's gonna happen.. but was worth a try.

Took my AAA room only ressie and changed it to the YQE deal.

We now have 7 nights regular season at the Ft Wilderness Cabins
8 days of park hopper tickets with expiration
dining package
and insurance based on two adults
2 adults, 2 children (ages 5 and 9)

for $3161.12
rack for all this was $3772.52

so savings of $610.40 and I am paid in full!

Ugh!!!!! I am so frustrated. I called my AAA TA this morning with the code. Called before they opened because I had read that if they had placed my ressie then they would have to call to change. She just called me back now and says "Can you get me some information on that and bring it in so I know what I'm asking for. Also I'm in a meeting from 11:00 so I should be back in the office by 1:30, after lunch. AAAAUUUGGGHHHH. And I'm paying her for what???? I'm not even sure I got a AAA discount because it was a package. I want to screammmmm!!!

I saw the codes late last night and since we didn't know any better - we had already booked with a TA - called her first thing this morning and she didn't know anything about the new deals! She wanted to know where I found out about all of these deals??? Good heavens, she's the TA and I feel like I'm doing all her work!!!! I had to give her the codes - we are booked at POR 11/10-11/15 and my package with a 5 day park hopper is $1855. Anyone have any clue what the new deal will give me??? Help, I'm at work WAITING for my TA to call me back!

Shastie, multiply $111 times the number of nights and add in the standard undiscounted ticket price for your tickets (plus undiscounted dining, if you have it) and that should be your price. At least that's what I paid for POR with this discount this morning. However, someone above got $94 for CSR, also a moderate, so maybe for your dates the POR discounted room will be less than $111.

Has anyone gotten the codes to work past 12/25? We have package thru AAA with dining, and we check in 12/21 and check out 12/27. No AAA discount available when we booked in the summer because those dates are considered holiday, instead of regular/value season. But wanted the AAA perks, so I went ahead and booked. I really don't want to have to make 2 ressies to get the discount. I haven't had a chance to call my TA to even discuss the possiblility of the codes working for us.

I'm the one who was saying that it worked out to be $94 a night for CSR, but that's only if you apply the entire savings to the room portion and pay full price for the tickets. 12/4-8 is considered the Value season so it could be that is what the difference is.

FYI – I had a room only booked 11/24 – 12/3. I called and I was able to apply the code for then entire stay including the black out but I decided to keep my room only ressie with AAA discount. Although I wanted the dining plan, I didn’t want to give up my standard AKL room. I am doing a split stay with a standard POR and then moving to a Standard AKL. There were no standard rooms available for those dates at either resort and although I would have saved a few bucks, I didn’t want to stay at CBR this trip.

No discounts available for us. Oh well!

We probably could have snagged something by changing resorts, but we like our plans the way they are, so we're happy to stay with what we have.

could not use the room only discount for the rooms I already have at rack rate of 149 at por. I needed the 11-13 of november, dont understand why they couldn to apply the rate to ex. reservation. bummer.
