Anybody have good steak at non-sig?

Another vote for The Wave...it was a VERY pleasant surprise. Both the steak and the pork were DELISH!

I thought the filet at Le Cellier was great! BUT... the filet at The Wave was AMAZING!!! Both of our party agreed that The Wave's steak was league's above the steak at Le Cellier.

Although I persoanlly did not try it, my Father had what he considers 'one of the best steaks he ever had' at Mama Melrose?! Where we enjoyed what we ordered (and I daresay it depends on what you order here because of the reviews) I was suprised at his comment on his steak! So I think next time I may try it and report back to see if I agree!

Another vote for the filet at Les Chefs, but I see no park hopper for the day.

We didn't try Le Cellier, actually cancelled an ADR there. The idea of mushrooms smothering a perfectly good steak makes me sad. We grill/smoke 4/7 days a week and I am a BBQ judge a dozen weekends a year. I, um, have some strong opinions on the subject. We don't go to Disney often so trying everything is sadly not possible. It is great there are so many options from which to choose.

Here's another vote for Captain's Grille, especially if you are going to be in DHS that day. Captain's Grille is only a short boat ride or walk from DHS. I had a NY strip there last year which was delicious.

DH and I both had very good steaks at Kona Cafe and LeCellier. At Kona he had the teriyaki New York and I had the Rib Eye. It was the best meal of our trip. LeCellier was good but expensive. We also had poor service at LeCellier. I thought my steak at the Yacht Club was good but DH said it had way too much fat. The service was poor at the Yacht Club also but it was probably because they had a lot of large convention groups that night. I would highly recommend Kona.

Coral Reef - it wasn't large, but it was tasty.

Kona Cafe has a great steak, and I think my husband liked his steak at Tony's Town Square, believe it or not.

I wish those who have complemented the Captains Grille on their steaks would please stop doing this. If it continues, it will no longer be a nice secret restaurant at WDW, which means it will be harder for me to get in when I'd like to in the future.

We had amazing steaks at The Wave and The Turf Club! They were both leagues ahead of the steak we had at Le Cellier. Kona and Coral Reef were just ok in my book.
