Anybody have good steak at non-sig?

Love the filet at Le Cellier. But I also had a good one at the Flying Fish. Is that non-sig?

Unfortunately Flying Fish is a sig restaurant!

Like everyone else, we love the filet at Le Cellier. Just as good or better than most sigs, except Yachtsman.

Oh, my favorite meal during our last trip was the Shaoxing Steak and Shrimp at Yak and Yeti's in AK. The steak was really good (so was everything else!). mmmm

I'm in the minority here, but I just can't call Le'Ceiller a great steak.

DH's steak at Chefs de France was really good. He also had steak at Tony's which he says was good. I had steak at Mama Melrose's and didn't like it much.

Well if food critics don't like it then it must be bad.

However, count me among the people that love the filet. So melt in your mouth tender you can cut it with a pretzel bread stick.

I'd have to say Le Cellier was the best. A close second was the steak at Grand Floridian Cafe.

Thanks for all the replies! My ds(15) and I are only going to be there for one day at HS for ESPN days. The park closes at 7 that night so we were looking for a nice dinner. I would love to try Le Cellier but no park hopper.
I was already thinking Grand Floridian Cafe or Turf Club but Captain's Grille got a couple nods too. What to do, what to do. I know, who has better desserts?

Let me tell ya, the desserts at Grand Floridian were heavenly! We had the dessert sampler platter which was key lime pie, tiramisu, lemon cheesecake and chocolate mousse.

My mom got a steak at Coral Reef. I tried it and it was cooked just right and tasted great.

Steaks to me are a hit or miss food. Sometimes you just dont get the best cut or they don't cook it right. I find this at all places I have steak though.

We love Le Cellier but have also had some pretty darn good steaks at the Captains Grille and the GFC.
