Any Wii's out there??????

I finally scored one yesterday @ 10:30am at toys r us in fayetteville,ga. The funny thing is I was looking at everything else in the store first before I went to electronics. I was so shocked to actually see some behind the glass case. They said they got 9 in. I must have been #2 or #3. Another lady was buying one when I got there. So now I can join in with everyone else in the search for extra wiimotes, nunchuks and good games. Sad part is I haven't had time to hook it up yet. It's still in the box. I should get to it before the weekend. Is anyone ordering the replacement straps anyway if you recently purchased a wii or are they all coming with the new straps now?

Any wii purchased after December something(forgot the date.. it was definetly before the 18th).. will come with a thicker wrist strap.

i got mine! My dad is a lettercarrier and he got tipped off by a UPS driver that EB was getting some that day LOL ask the UPS drivers...they know what the boxes look like. EB was the same price as Walmart for the basic set.

Rumor says All Best buys will be getting them this Sunday for the add (20 per store) on the 21st! This was just poseted on another board I am on by a BB employee...so take it for what it's worth.

Target and Circuit City will have them for the ad on the 21st. Many stores already have them and they're holding them back for the Sunday sale.

I walked into our local Game Stop to pick up a new PC game for DS and they must have had 10 Wii's stacked up against the wall.....no extras, just the system

I finally one yesterday at Target. I received a text message at 4:30am that several Targets close to me had Wii's in stock. I stopped by one on the way to school around 8:30am and they had 2 in the display case--so I grabbed one! Today we went out to look for extra controllers, checked target, best buy, Kmart. Went to Walmart as a last resort and they had them So we picked up 3 extra controllers and nunchucks!

We finally got the Wii. My DS wanted one so bad for Christmas. I had to explain they were very hard to get and should be plentiful after Christmas (not) anyway and employee tipped me off that they get shipments on Thursday afternoons around 1:00 - 2:00 pm. I get off work at 2:00. I headed straight to EB games and got one!

It was 267.00 Canadian.....

The Wii saved my dd's slumber party last night! No one could agree on anything to do, some hated video games, some hated board games, everyone wanted a different movie. So, I suggested bowling. Except when I made them watch a movie before they went to sleep they've been playing Wii nonstop. The girl who couldn't stand video games, won't give up her controller LOL!!! Their parents are all gonna hate me, cuz they are all going home and begging for their own Wii!!!

My DS had three young friends over and that is what they had fun doing the most. One little guy said he was going to buy a controller so he could play with my DS so they wouldn't have to share one controller. Then he said he was going to trade his PS2 and games and get one too. The other little guy he went home begging for one too!

Me....ur um, I have very sore arms this afternoon! Bowling is so fun. Tennis, that is a workout!

Nearly everyone who has touched ours (from our 20 year old friends to my 81 year old grandma) has been converted and wants one too.

THAT is way they have been so hard to find. It's word of mouth. this isn't just another game system, it's a revolution!

That is GREAT Erika...I know my DD who is 4 has never played a video game in her life, but she is a dang good bowler!! And now that we have found the one where you try to knock down all sorts of pins I am hooked onto another thing

Game Stop, best buy and circuit city are all supposed to have them. I would think if you got to the store of your choice an hour before they open, you'd be fine.
