That is TOO funny about the tennis...my DH has been playing that...me I have been sticking with the bowling...I have to get working on the basement so we can hook it up to the widescreen/bigscreen TV...will be a better time then.

Did you end up finding extra controls??

Nope, no controllers. Most stores I've asked have said they haven't even gotten any in since Christmas.

We got a teeny tiny rat terrier. We have an 8 pound full grown rat terrier, and we found a puppy we think we'll be close to the same size as her when she's full grown. Right now, I'm guessing she weighs about a pound.

OOOH too cute...we got a maltipoo that might weigh 7 pounds...I wish she was a little smaller...I remember bringing her home and she might have been a pound then...my DH was worried about her getting up and down the stairs. ENJOY!

You might check on craigslist.com for someone selling these. In my area, people are selling wiimote + nunchuck for $75, probably not much more than retail plus shipping if you found them online. Just make sure they have the receipt in case you have a problem.

Im BUMMED - I drove my son around for the past 2 days in a row - to alllll the stores. Best Buy, TRU, Circuit City, etyc etc etc.... no Wii's.

During yesterday's drive we stopped at an EBGames that got them - not a half hour after we were there. Probably when we were at another store, checking. Im so BUMMED for him, I wanna cry.

Poor kid - been saving his money since summer. He picked up a classic controller and a nunchuck....so, now he needs the Wii to use it on.

My local Circuit City told me they expected a shipment on Friday night so you might want to check your early Sat or late Friday. Also if you have a Meijer around, my store told me the Wii trucks come at 3 or 4 in the morning, so they will get unpacked early as well. Good luck!

Cathryn Rose have you been to any of the Wal Marts in the Chicago Area today? I was in Super Wal Mart in Merrillville Indiana today and they had probably 5 or 6 of them locked up in the display case. I asked the guy working and he said he thought they came in yesterday afternoon, they were there when his shift started.

They also had 3 of the 60GB PS3's.

My DH FINALLY got one yesterday at one of our local Super Walmarts. My boys 9 and 6 were SOOOOO excited!!! He has been going out during work hours right after the stores supposedly get their trucks in. I think that is key if you want to get a Wii!!! He went to the Superwalmart around 12:30 pm and they had 4 of them! All of the searching is finally over! Stay on top of it! They are out there for those who don't have one yet!!!!

Our Super Walmart had 7 of them on the shelf last night! I almost fell over from the shock.

About the extra controllers - you can order them direct from Nintendo.com. I figured the $5 shipping was well worth the time saved driving from store to store hoping to find a controller.

The WRIST STRAPS have been recalled on all Wiis everywhere, but there is really no cause for concern unless yours looks like it's going to fall apart. It's really no biggie. From this poster's "bwahahaha" I'm thinking they were trying to get everyone all worked up.
