Any Wii's out there??????

Okay, getting a little help from Brown - the UPS guy is going to call me when he gets to Rhino tomorrow - I'm 5 minutes away and will be there as the boxes are coming off the truck!

What a fabulous idea!!!! What did you have to bake for the Brown man?? That is worth a great tray of brownies or sandwiches for the rest of his route.

Costco.com now says they will not be receiving any Wii's prior to Christmas.

Anyone have any info on when DS lite might be available....DS7 just sprung this on me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate this sick feeling I get when they are hoping for something I don't have!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I need a wii, a DS lite and an assortment of other hard to find things!

Do you have a Costco nearby? I was at mine the other day, and they still had a ton! They were in a bundle with a game, but they had a lot. What color are you looking for, I'll keep my eyes open around here.

I wish I had UPS guy who could help me, but we don't even have Rhino, whatever that is. I think I should move to where there is a Rhino or Meijers!

I suspect CompUsa has sold them the last two mornings. Again today it said coming soon. I refreshed every few minutes for the last 45 minutes, and now this last time, no more than 2-3 minutes from my last refresh it went from "coming soon" to "sold out for delivery". Interesting. Frustrating but interesting.

This just happened again. I hit refresh continuosly, and it went from Coming Soon to Sold Out in the time it too for the page to reload, with a Cable modem. Grrrr.

I went ahead and ordered the replacements offered before we've even given the little guyt the game. They probably won't be here before Christmas though. There is some website where he's been watching the carnage of household items caused by the wiimote. Maybe wiivegotaproblem or some such .com as that.

Did you see that supposedly last night there was the kids bundle available through Amazon!!! FRUSTRATING...everytime I try to get something done around the house they become available. I am just going to reside to it that there will NOT be one under the tree

I tried to do it too but Santa's got the Wii wrapped up for Christmas so the serial number is not available. Guess I'll do it after Christmas.

We are already preparing a note from "Santa" for DS because we don't think we are going to get one B4 Christmas either although trying to be optimistic! Something to the effect that "the elves were sooo busy & trying to make enough for everyone that wanted one that they put it together too fast and now the remotes are broken so Santa is fixing it and will send it out as soon as it's done" We did pick up a couple of the games so he will know that it's on its way.

You know, I was thinking of getting some Wii games too and wrapping them up but I'm afraid my DS(10) would have a "melt down" when he realized he didn't have anything to play them on yet.

I thought I had one yesterday from Toys R Us - used Google checkout and it's been cancelled - called Toys R Us and they had a recording "if your google order was cancelled, we are sorry, the item you ordered is in high demand and we can't fill your order at this time but wanted you to know so you could pick something else out, blah, blah, blah......................"

I got a Wii at walmart this afternoon. I was in the right place at the right time, just grocery shopping and happen to walk by electronics when they brought them out. I got the last one!

I did not see anyone rushing back there. Wiis were "supposed" to easier to find than the PS3 and it seems like we are seeing more availability for the PS3.

YUP, I agree - many more PS3' available then Wii's.

Wow, that's very cool!

Everywhere around here is holding them for Sunday. The most frustrating thing about that is their lying.. when I ask.. "do you have any wii's in stock?" and they pause.. look guilty and then tell me "no.. but we're expecting a shipment on Sunday morning".

Can they not just say.. we will have some to sell on sunday? We're not allowed to sell until Sunday? ect... Don't tell me a shipment comes in on sunday, because I KNOW the UPS truck isn't arriving at 8am!

Oh well. thanks for listening to my vent.

A man at Best Buy was super friendly to me, when I told him it was for my sons. He asked me if it was for me.. and when I mentioned the sons,, he became very, very friendly. I'm Not a reseller!

So, I'm heading to Best Buy on Sunday. I already bought a remote and numchuck today, because I ran across some at Target.
