Any SSR owners get new member guide?

We signed in September and received the then current member guide and a SSR point chart. We have not received the new member guide yet in the mail. Does anyone know when we will get one?

I called my guide with a question and asked about the litho as well. She said she didn't have any but sent me the SSR pins and BCV pins instead. I thought that was nice and I will get more out of the pins since my daughters can trade the extra ones on our next trip.

We signed on October 15th. I did call and ask for a pin which I have since received. No new guidebook though. We keep hoping every day!

Just to let you know about our very long and discouraging experience on Member guidebooks. We joined about 1 1/2 years ago, a few months before last year's MG were mailed out. Took me 4 phone calls over 6 weeks, plus one CM calling me back to verify that we'd received it (we hadn't) before we finally got it. We got it Thanksgiving week, if I remember, that was about 6 weeks after most everyone else. It was a very discouraging experience. But this year, we got ours along with a lot of others, abut a week or two ago.

My guide had promised me a SSR pin, when we bought. Then it didnt show with the ownership stuff and she said to swing by when we come and shed get me one. She also assured me that I'd get a litho, but now someone is saying that there werent anymore and they got pins instead!

With regard to the pin, they have been used almost exclusively as gifts for those taking the on-site tours. While I don't doubt that your guide can get you one, I'm not surprised that it didn't come with your paperwork. I'm fairly certain the guides themselves aren't putting the packets together. If your guide lead you to believe that a pin would be included with the packet, that was probably her mistake.

The lithos were first available about a month ago. We bought SSR back in September, and got my litho several weeks later--just a couple of days after reading about them here on this board.

It's conceivable that they are temporarily out of the lithos, but you should be due one eventually. If you're going to be at WDW soon, I'd just ask your guide about the pin and litho at the same time. If they have both items available, I'm sure you will get both.

No new member guide or litho here. BUT, I did receive a packet in the mail with postcards of all DVC Resorts (except SSR) complete with a refrigerator magnet, welcome letter, a thank you note and an explanation on the referral service.

We signed in early September.

I hope we get the new guide and litho! I will ask about a pin wen we do a tour next month.

I also got the referral packet with the same stuff in it.

HI All,

We took the tour and signed up on 10/23/03. We got the 3 of each SSR and the other pin that same day, their were 3 of us that took the tour.

When my paperwork arrived on 10/28/03 it had the Litho, backpack and new member guide in the box. I was super happy.

I hope they start sending out the merchadise catalogs soon!

We just got our litho today. We signed papers in September, so there seems to be little rhyme or reason to this as well.

The member guidebooks, I think we got that with our initial paperwork. We got the member backpack, too.

No Pin when we took the tour (August) but the litho is very nice. I've already had it framed!
