Any September guests received FP+ testing invite?

I clicked on it - nothing happened

Let's wait and see.
It would be happy to be in the test and it would not bother me not to be in the test. It is like getting FD or not.

staying at WL and POP in September

edit: OK, I can't do the magic bands, but I can do FP+ reservations, but only for the time we are staying at POP.

That is confusing.
We are staying at WL first, added some ticket days and made a room only reservation for POP - we will use the added days of the tickets then!
Will we be able to use the regular Fastpass during our stay at WL??!!

We're staying at WL as well. Checked again this morning and I still don't have access.

For those wondering/keeping track we have a Magic Your Way pkg for BC Sept 14-21. Only tix linked on MDE are MNSSHP tix. I could make FP+ choices last night but no Magix Bands yet (in fact when I go into that screen it only shows 3 of the 5 people in our group) - although all 5 show for our FP+ selections??? Will be checking all day today though to see if our FP choices change and/or we can choose Magic Bands.

I have been able to change everything about them, time and attractions. You should be fine unless the fast passes are taken. (Not too likely in Sept.).

I customized my magic bands Tuesday evening and according to my UPS tracking number they should be arriving this afternoon!!!!

Well, that was fun. Just got off the phone with tech support and apparently I said the wrong thing, because she went straight into the "this is a test, you will be notified if and when you are invited to participate...."

I then explained to her that I understood, and what I am trying to do is make sure all my party is showing up under the cards and magicbands link. (They are showing up under MY Reservations). She again started quoting from the "this is a test..." I expressed compassion at how frustrating it must be for them to not be given all the information or authorization to share it, but I just want to see all of my party listed as it says on the website that they should be.

She did say that guests who are able to book FP+.but are not invited on day 17 prior to their arrival will be given paper FP at their hotels.
(Which will tick a heck of a lot of people off unless they are given 3 per person per day of their stay - my opinion)

She also told me that when and if I receive an email inviting me to participate that it will contain all the instructions as how to proceed. Whatever.

Strangely, the phone line went dead as I waited for the survey, which I was definitely going to take.

BTW - If anyone out there knows how to make people show up under cards and magicbands, that would be nice. They are listed on reservation and in case you are wondering, my ticker is wrong - 26 days til trip

Under cards and magicbands, for me, there are no names or anything. How are some who haven't been able to customize theirs even able to see names, or tell how many they are going to get? I just get the same message asking me to link my reservations....nothing about customizing or who is getting one....

This same thing is happening to me as well. Only 3 of the 5 are eligible for Fast Pass + and no magic bands. We are staying in the POR check-in on Sept 11th.

It seems that the general DIS consensus is that if they allow it to happen,(whether by design or flawed programming) it is permissible.

The customer service techie was very helpfully to us in getting everything linked right but when we did it we said absolutely nothing about MagicBands. We just said "HELP SOME OF OUR ADRs WON'T LINK RIGHT"

If I were you I would wait and see what happens with all of this coming online before I did anything drastic. It's likely all the hotels that are currently only showing FP+ right now will get bands online later today. I'm making absolutely no moves until I see emails with official invitations flying around.

BBM-I think this is the key. Don't mention anything about magicbands. They very cautious after hearing the word magicband. They don't want to promise or imply anything about them.

Yes. When I call they are very cheery and happy to help until I utter the words "Magic Bands" and then they can't wait to get me off the phone and the word "test" is repeated over and over.

I called and switched it. This would have been trip #3 to the Boardwalk. We were on the fence since we booked it, and this sealed the deal. Even if they dont get MB, I'm happy to stay a new resort!

Everyone shows up under my reservations and it is listed that I manage everyone's accounts, but only one DD, myself, and DH (who isn't even on this trip) are listed on the MB & Card page. We all have cards assigned, presumably from our Feb 2013 trip. The missing ones are my married DD and her DH who were also there in Feb, but under their own reservation. I probably just need to be patient and fix it all later when ("and if" ) we are notified for MB.
