Any pics yet of Dream aft balconies?

I'm interested in this too...we'll be in 6690 in May!

You saw the pics, right? We LOVED this room and our next door neighbors loved theirs too (even tho' they had the flag pole attached to their balcony, LOL). They rebooked the same room and I would book 6690 again in a heartbeat. Just be aware that you will hear the bass from Evolution (club) two decks down; that would worry me more for deck 5. But it didn't keep us away and there was little to no hallway noise.

Didn't bother me too much tho' as I was running in a state of exhaustion, so no trouble falling asleep. I would definitely stay back there again.

Hi. We have 6690 and 6692 booked using our points for July 24, 2011 and not going to be changing our cabins but can I ask you a few questions:

How late did you hear the Evolution Club? My kids are older (17 and 13) so sleeping in is more important than going to sleep LOL but do you hear it at 2 am? I am guessing it doesn't wake you up in the morning, is that correct?

Also, can you tell me more about the flag pole? Is it difficult to see outside your stateroom with the pole?
I cannot find/see your twitter picture with the balcony. I clicked on the link and see many pictures but can't find it.
What furniture is on the balcony? Is it just two sitting chairs and a table? Can loungers fit back there?

We have never had all the way aft but always get our cabins as far back as possible when sailing on RCCL. Love that there is much less foot traffic, especially that we sail over Easter or Summer.

I would love to hear more of your thoughts on these cabins and if possible, can you send me a direct link with the picture? Thanks so much!

Good news about flag- but I think I'd rather have flapping flag than thumping bass. I HATE thumping bass in passing cars/etc. LOL Seriously. I don't know why it irks me so much. I think it messes with the beating of my heart or something- makes it irregular LOL

(we're on deck 5... not 6, so it should be worse for us then)

However, the clubs aren't open any later than the teen programs, right? so I'll just be annoyed until I've got my teens safely in bed and then when I finally try to go to sleep- the bass should have stopped by then.... right? (hope hope hope)

I cannot see the one next to the flag. I have flag room and next door (6690-6692) for July and would love to see any picture of either.

Oh and you better like your neighbors on these aft balconies when you're looking out from the railing.
First time I came out I was startled by our neighbors on our right. I'm sure I looked great in their video recording...

...do the aft verandahs have connecting doors ?...if so, where are the doors ?

....can you see people on their balconies below ?

....what is along side your cabin/verandah where it shows a long thin passageway on the deck plans ?

....are there any secret stairs from Cabanas to the aft (and do they go down to deck 9 , and/or other decks below ?))

How do you know which ones get loungers?

If you look at her picture, there are two chairs by the door and the loungers are at the end of the balcony. I would be safe to say that all of those aft verandas get them since the are long and not wide.

That's good news for those of us who need a handicap room and haven't been able to book one...with a verandah.
For my September 2011 cruise, I'm waiting. I know this sounds awful, but I'm hoping that whoever booked the rooms that I need won't have the medical form when the time comes, and that they'll have to relinquish it.

Nothing gets my dander up more than people booking accessible rooms when they don't have a need for it, simply because they are roomier than other rooms in the same category.

Please don't take this is an attack of any kind....you are doing this the RIGHT way!

As McQueenfan knows, we were in 9670 on the MV. It is not an official handicap room as yet, but I guess they can easily change that as the basis is there already.

The room is huge, the balcony is huge and you have the perfect view of CC! We didn't book this room, just a 9a GTY .. we were given this room 3 weeks before the cruise and only realised where it was when we looked at preview photos on here.

So, for those who need a handicap room, 9670 has the following:

1. Push door opening .... you show your card to the reader and only have to push the door to open it, not turn a handle.
2. No steps into bathroom or onto balcony .. gentle slopes in the carpet which I kept tripping up!
3. A roll in shower.

It does NOT have:
1. Automatic door opener like official handicap rooms had.
2. Handles and bars in the bathroom.

Hope that helps people.

Sorry, just to add ... our balcony (and room) could open to join Stateroom 9672 (also a 9a). We couldn't see any other balconies unless we poked our heads round the 'wall', or if we stood at the end and looked upwards ... but then we could only see people if they were hanging over the edge of their balcony!

The loungers were nice, I think DD enjoyed it more than I did tho.
Although there were some black sand/dust thingy on it the day after we sailed. So we didn't bother cleaning everything.
