That's the reason I booked it too. It looked great in the deck plans. My cruise is sold out too so no moving for us either. Oh well. At least I am going on the cruise and getting away from all this snow.

I think they should reserve the Aft verandahs for Texans since we all seem to like them.

On another note here is a tiny aft verandah. I am guessing it is 5188 so don't book this one.

Looks very likely that it is 5188. Since your cruise isn't until August, you should look at moving statrooms or even cruise dates if you can. We are in 5688 (the mirror to yours) on a sold out cruise and we have our flights, so are stuck, but you have lots of time to move. Our TA is checking daily to see if any other staterooms open up for us, but we aren't holding our breath.

Sorry but that small balcony is 5188. You should try to rebook if you will not be happy with that stateroom.

Here is a picture of 6690's balcony. It is the mirror of 6190 so it should be the same size. 6192 should be slightly deeper and wider.

That's my point exactly!!! How can DCL justify charging the same price for THAT as they do for those rooms with regular balconies in the same category?!
Unfortunately, our cruise is sold out, but I sent my TA a note along with the picture and told her to look for any cancellations! Fingers crossed! If not, DCL will be hearing about it.

Woo hoo! Our TA was able to find us something else!!! Our cruise had been sold out but someone must have cancelled! We have a GTY in Cat 5A now, so deck 9 or 10! Thank goodness! She was on the phone with a supervisor at DCL for quite awhile. She was even asking about the possibility of them recategorizing that room, or giving us some sort of discount because it is obviously not a regular balcony room. She said if enough people compalin, maybe they will, but they wouldn't budge right now. Just so glad we were able to get something else!!!

Here is a picture of 6690's balcony. It is the mirror of 6190 so it should be the same size. 6192 should be slightly deeper and wider.
