Any other lazy parents?

While I'm on the computer my kids are eating pop-tarts and watching SpongeBob. Dh is bringing home pizza, so I'm not even making dinner.
Add me to the lazy list.

I'm so lazy I don't even have time to read through this whole thread...I guess that means I'm lazy about being lazy!!!! :lmao:

But I know I'm on the list. I'll post details when I have a burst of energy.

We have out dish set for fam. channels, and kids channels. Before I go to bed I change the guide to kids. That way when they get up super early they wont come in and ask me to turn the channel.

Before that option, told oldest DD wich 3 numbers to push in on remote for Disney Channel. She couldnt count yey but knew what channel Disney was.

My daughter (at age 2) could find the disney channel too!! And even load the VCR, and start the tape- I just had to make sure the tape was ready to go.

For what I read on the Disboards....I m sorry to report....NOT ONE OF YOU ARE LAZY!!!!:sad2:

You are ALL "CRUNCHY"!!!!!!!!!!!

:thumbsup2

My daughter just had a brownie (not homemade...Little Debbie) for supper....I offered her a cookie too, but she said she was full, im lazy

When my dds were young (say 5 and 3) one would would be in her room crying sometimes at night. Dh and I were in bed trying to outlast the other (pretending to be asleep) so we wouldn't have to get up. My sister was living with us. She would get so tired of hearing my dd that she would get up and get dd. Then she would open my bedroom door guide dd in and shut the door behind her.

I have feed them junk food for dinner and given them lupper.

I don't spank. I found they hated time outs so that was what we used. Once my older dd was sent to a time out and she told me "I'll go but I won't think about what I did".

My sisters have take my dds overnight and on vacations. I will pack an overnight bag in 2 minutes if I need to. (Now they are 11 and 13 so they pack themselves). Last year we even spent 10 days in Disney without them and it didn't bother me at all.

I'm completely lazy....as I type my 3 week old is sleeping in his carseat next to me because I want to play on the computer and don't want to risk waking him up to put him in his crib.

My older 2 boys are playing video games in their playroom and I probably won't interrupt them for another hour or so.

My DH isn't home tonight, so for dinner it will be mac n cheese or chicken nuggets.

I breastfeed and cosleep because I'm lazy and don't want to miss out on any sleep.

My house is a disaster and I'm really contemplating hiring a maid even though I'm a SAHM.

Oh yeah, when my oldest was 2 we taught him to get his sippy cup from the fridge and how to turn on the tv, just so we could get an extra 15 minutes of sleep. :lmao:

always had pop tars on lower shelf.

I LOVE THIS!!!!!!!!

My 15 year old still remembers being 3 years old, going into the kitchen because he was hungry and the pop tarts were on the lower shelf and finding his motorized 4 wheeler from Santa!!!!!! Yep Santa was even to lazy to hide the present where it couldn't be found!

Oh and I'm a soon to be mom of another little one (see my siggie) and I simply can't wait!!!!!

How are we crunchy? Have not read a baby how to book. Raised my kids like I was raised, use the TV as a babysitter, kids napped in car seat, or wherever they fell. Kids do chores. Im the boss and tell them what to do they dont tell me what to do. and I YELL!

Have never eaten organic food. And never wore a baby, or hugged a tree.

I had organic chocolate chips once, and they were NASTY!!!!(and on sale!) We have a baby back pack- but thats for hiking. And i wish- oh do I wish- that I had family nearby that would take my kids for the weekend.

When asked what's for supper-go ahead and make your self a bowl of cereal-can you eat it in front of the tv with a tray-sure!

You make yours get a tray? what a horrible mom you are :rotfl2: mine just plops down on the floor and sits hers on the coffee table

We have the kids table in the living room........after all, we sit on the couch to eat. :goodvibes

our kids always eat on the stairs to the family room. They know they cant sit on the sofa. Its like stadium seating on the stairs.

Guilty of all the above. I love the laundry pile.... I just leave it in the clothes baskets though. Didn't breastfeed.... preemie babies, pumped for awhile but after DS's twin passed I just couldn't be bothered. Now I know I was lazy.

Heck, I was so lazy I went on total bedrest while only 21 weeks preg.
Cereal, spag o's ravioli, chick noodle soup.... it's all good for dinner.

My kids also have tv's in their rooms so we don't have to share ours.

I am a dog parent. I am so lazy I didn't even have a child to be lazy about. I would think that is pretty darn lazy.:rotfl2:

God, I feel so warm and safe surround by all you lazy people!

Hello, my name is jemiaule and I am a lazy parent.

My youngest was a thumbsucker as a baby; I never tried to stop him and now I know that it wasn't his peace & comfort I sought; it was because I was lazy.

I did breastfeed but I used disposable diapers, jarred baby food, and some days let both boys just be dressed in onsies instead of cute coordinating outfits because I am so lazy.

At our house we serve "Breakfast Jump-up" - ie: jump up and get it your own self. (Club Paradise fans should know that line) Yes, I am lazy; I allow the 4 year old to pour the milk himself for cereal.

Once a week the boys can take lunchables for lunch. we tell them they get thse if they have been good all week but in reality it is because I am lazy.

We let them have pancakes for dinner, eat their Valentines candy from grandma a day early (before bed!) and the pizza delivery guy has been spotted on our doorstep once or twice a month.

On every Saturday night we let them have a sleepover at Grandmas and they stay there until bedtime on Sunday so DH and I can have some alone time. So we are selfish AND lazy!
