Rebecca, I forgot that you lived in Oregon. I hear that area has much nicer summers than here. We are much like the south in the summer time. Upper 90s and triple digits now and then with very high humidity. We also get freezing temps below zero... sometimes I wonder why we live here![]()
It's been almost 100 here for the last few days, and a heat index of well above that. For that heat, i should at least be in Disney World!
I was flying through the rest of the posts waiting anxiously for your results.... I'm so sorry.
sorry I disappeared for a bit. My boss spotted me crying and gave me permission to leave for the day.
Ah well, I've lived in Ohio all my life, so I should be used to it by now.
I wish there was more I could say to comfort you.![]()
Oh yah...I'm going to see Kenny Chesney tonight so I'm hoping he'll take my mind off of everything else for a couple of hours.
I know I just jumped on but I was reading through some of the posts and crossing my fingers for you. So go kick back and relaxe and let Kenny Chesney take you far far away from here-You definintely deserve it.
I am so sorry.
Just have your drink, and cry as long as you want. Let us know if you ever need to "talk".
I think we might be relatedI am the type of person that over analyizes everything to death trying to think of every possible problem and possible solutions to everything. I over think things. way way over think things.
Just need to find a good deal now.
Good to get to know you. I'll give you a little of my story. My DH and I will be married for 7 years this Oct (known each other over 11 years now). We've been in this house since 2001. We always thought we'd wait a couple years after marriage to have kids... well that was stretched out to about 5 before we both felt ready. I had a miserable job so I flat out quit it... decided I was not going to work again. That was 2 years ago. We wanted a few months of adjustment before TTC and make sure we coudl afford me not to work. We got it all figured out fortunately, and the crappy thing is, it took us almost a year to get pregnant. The really bad part was that one ended in a miscarriage when I was about 11-12 weeks along
The interesting part of all this is while that was going on I was still scared to death about being a mother. The 2nd time I got pregnant, I actaully had given it a lot of thought and knew what my purpose was. So nearly a year and a half after TTC, I finally knew I wanted children! I am now just shy of 22 weeks pregnant and doing okay so far. It's never a perfect time for anything and I wish we hadn't waited so long, but at least now I feel ready. So good luck to you!Hi again! I am hoping for af soon, so I can get back to ovulating and bdonce again after this terrible loss.
Have any of you bought ovulation/hpt in bulk? I checked at Sam's and they didn't have them. Maybe online somewhere? I prefer the "pee sticks" over the ones you go in a cup then dip. I also don't like the digitals that come with one test and have refill sticks, I always manage to break them.![]()
Yes, I'm a pro at testing unfortunately.Just need to find a good deal now.
THANKS![]()
. I think the name of the website was saveontests.com. IIRC the stick ones were $1 each. They were cheap and the shipping was fast but I have no idea if they're as reliable as the ones you get at a drug store. They also sell cheapie pregnancy tests.
We are here for you. You take as many drinks as you need!
I'm allison. I'll be 29 in October and DH is 31. We met in high school and have been together ever since...married for 7 years. We have a 4 year old DS. He was the best surprise ever! LOL! We bought our first house a year ago, May 06. We started TTC right after we moved, with no luck. I had a chemical pregnancy in April, we was really hard to deal with. I FINALLY have an appt with my GYN next Friday! I should find out also some time next week if we had any success this month...we took this month off from TTC because I really hit rock bottom the last few months, so I didn't do any temping or planned BD'ing, so my hopes aren't up for a BFP. But we'll see.
