Jen, I sent you a PM about the diapers. I didn't want to clutter the thread with that ;)
Cloth diapers really do intrigue me though. I have heard that they can help cut down on the occurrence of diaper rash as well.

Kristy, you have been in my thoughts. I really do hope that the spotting you saw was implantation bleeding only.

Princess Pooh, I played with my friend's saliva scope and it was cool. It actually showed us that I was pregnant as well since I had a ton of ferning. I think it is just neat to play with and if I were to ever do it again, I would definitely buy one. They were seriously fun to play with!

morning all.....I took the blood test and I'll have results in a couple of hours.

My nurse said the spotting may be a good sign but she knows me and agrees it's best to be cautiously optimistic :)

I am keeping my fingers crossed - an I'll sit here and be very optimistic! :thumbsup2

Kristy, my fingers are still crossed. I think I will be sitting on the edge of my seat just waiting for you ;) Maybe I'll bake the cookies now to help my time pass more quickly :p I hope it does fly for you!

Kristy, I spotted for 3 days, so it can be a good sign. I have everything crossed for you!

Elaine I wish I could come bake with you. Work has been busy the past two days and wouldn't know it...it's dead today. I'm bored out of my mind and just sitting here waiting. Oh yah...and visiting the bathroom too checking to see if AF has shown up. Nothing...no spotting either....just cramping

Kristy, I need to unload and load the dishwasher before I start baking. Still wanna help?

At least I made it to the store to get what I needed :teeth:

sure....I really don't mind doing dishes. :) what are we baking?

oh cool! It's just stuff that was sitting over night to soak before I loaded them today.

We're baking chocolate and peanut butter chip cookies. My own slight variation on the Tollhouse recipe.

I could go for some cherry chip cupcakes with cooked fudge frosting :cloud9:

To bad it's going to be hot here today or I would bake some...I actually have some energy today :thumbsup2 It will be sooooooo nice when we get our A/C installed...then I can bake whenever I want!!!

oooooooooo cookies and cupcakes.

I'm a simple person, yellow cakes w/chocolate icing and jimmies will suit me just fine.

Ty for the nice welcome. I think for a little bit we're gonna be pretty relaxed about trying. Especially since the surgery things should be much different and better. BUt i hope it won't be that long b4 we get lucky. Especially since I'm 34 and dh is 47:rotfl:

Yum....I may end up eating all the dough before we're done :)

Rebecca no a/c? yikes!!! I would literally sweat to death without an a/c. It's going to be 94 here today.

Octoberbride, I am a bit of a simpleton as well. I like vanilla cake with white icing best actaully. I do like chocolate chip cookies, but I have a bag of chocolat and pb chips so I need to use that up.

Rebecca, come over and join us! I'll crank up the a/c to about 68 while we bake. We have central a/c but also have a wall unit for just upstairs (our bedroom... cape cod house) and that is running as well.

Kristy, feel free to eat the dough. I will be using pasturized eggs to be safe :teeth:

mmmmmm cookie dough :cloud9: I had my tollhouse recipie down to 1/2 a batch that I could whip up real quick so I could eat just the dough!!! My DH thinks I'm strange :confused3

As for the no A/C thing...the house actually stays pretty cool...except the kitchen and main living room. As we speak I'm wrapped up in a blanket in the office and it is almost 85 outside.

Rebecca, I forgot that you lived in Oregon. I hear that area has much nicer summers than here. We are much like the south in the summer time. Upper 90s and triple digits now and then with very high humidity. We also get freezing temps below zero... sometimes I wonder why we live here ;)

When it comes to cake I like vanilla with cream frosting, strawberry with cream cheese icing, or a good german chocolate. Those are my three...anything else is not worth the calories

LOL Rebecca I'm with you on the cookie dough. Last Christmas I bought the pre-packaged cookies that broke apart and just have to be baked. At least 2 of them ended up in my tummy instead of the cookie sheet.

2pm and no results yet......y'all know how impatient I am ;) ;) ;)

White cake is good...even yummier with decorators icing. My mom had a buttercream frosting to die for. I use it when I decorate cakes...then put the extra on saltine crackers or just in my mouth :rotfl2:

I'm actually a very cold blooded person so 68 is just a little to chilly for me. I'll bring my sweatshirt. I was looking forward to being warm during pregnancy but that doesn't seem to be happening. Maybe I should have my thyroid checked again???

Anywho...BRING ON THE COOKIES :woohoo:

Kristy, you could always call... never can hurt ;)

Rebecca, I was a cold blooded person. Low bp, low body temp... low all that. Ever since being pregnant I am a furnace!!!!! It got really bad once I hit the 2nd trimester. I get hot really quick and need to drink lots and keep cool.

Oh don't be fooled...it can be beastly hot here. When I lived in the Valley it could stay in the upper 90's for several days in a row with high humidity. I would have killed for an A/C there. Up here in the Cascades it can get hot as well but it is dry like Arizona. We have been in the 80's and 90's for about two months now...no rain...and our hottest months are still to come. But our saving grace is it get to below 60 at night. In fact last night is was in the 40's.
