Allison, he is adorable. I need to post another picture of my girls.

Princesspooh - I didnt' know you were in Montreal. I am in Vermont. I have been saying I wanted to get up there sometime. Maybe this summer.

Denae

Danae, that's so funny since I'm trying to arrange a getaway to Vermont!

That would be me. TTC for 2 1/2 years, tried Clomid. Begged for test for PCOS. Had the test on 12/31/98, got the results on 1/6/99 (mild insulin resistance), started Metformin on 1/7/99, got my BFP on 1/28/99, delivered 9/2/99 (at 34 weeks), have a second grader 6/15/07 (and another second grader born 8/27/00).

Hi everyone! Hope all is well.

Denae

Well, if I could just get motivated again. I feel better since officially giving up. I had a normal cycle last month and even O'd for the first time that I know of, now if I could just get me and DH motivated to BD then maybe something could happen. The only thing I want to get motivated about is going to WDW.

Suzanne princess:

Allison- great sunflower and what a super cute pic of DS- he is just the absolute cutest there!

Carla- you are NOT a chicken. you are right, this gives her more time to come down naturally. So tuesday is the date? i can't wait!!! i hope you can start to feel better some after delivery.

Snoopy- so sorry about the news on DH. like others said- there are ways around it sometimes, so don't lose faith yet. i'll keep you in my prayers!

Tinkerchele- keeping you and your partner in my prayers!!! i really hope you get your BFP!!!! how much longer of the 2WW?

Carla -

Labor is scary. I bawled my eyes out the night they told me they were going to induce me in the morning. I was petrified. Funny, though, I wasn't that afraid with my second - partly because I had done it before, and partly because it built up gradually, and I had time to prepare. I also think that since by body was more ready, labor was not as tough. (I would have picked today, though, since 15 is a lucky number for me!) GOOD LUCK!

Snoopygirl - Sorry about DH. :grouphug: I have a friend who is going thru treatment for a similar problem. I don't know all the details but the doc has given them a good chance of getting pregnant.

Skuttle - DS is adorable. I know what you mean about daycare graduation. We have one every May. DS5 just finished PreK so next year will be the first without a graduation in awhile. Our school does not do a K graduation. :confused3

Tinkerchelle - Fingers crossed for you. When can you test?

Mickeyboat - I really hope when I get around to trying the metaformin I am as fortunate as you were. I am planning on July unless something weird comes up with work.

Carla - Good luck this week!

As of today I'm officially late . I don't have any symptoms though so I'm going to wait a while before testing. Maybe the spotting I had was mid-cycle spotting? I'm trying not to get my hopes up but it's hard not to get excited!

ETA - Oops I meant implantation spotting.

Princess Pooh - Good luck! No AF! I could never be that patient with testing.

Oooh-Good luck!

I think we've decided not to test for now. I think I have some signs that AF is coming. I'm SO not disappointed yet, because we really weren't trying yet (trying to get regulated, etc.) but it was a fun thought while it lasted. I think I'm late due to still regulating and STRESS!! Maybe in the next month or so. I already have my new OB-GYN in my new city picked out, so I'm ready when the time comes!

Been busy lately... but been reading

Allison how adorable!!!!!!!!

Princess Pooh, there is also implantation bleeding. It would occur 10ish (give or take) days after ovulation. Just something to think about.

I am curious, what symptoms are you guys looking for or making you think that AF would be on her way. If it is just simply cramps, toss them out. Not a good symptom to go by. I still get cramps due to the uterus growing. That was my only symptom. My bbs didn't hurt, AF felt like she would pop up any moment, I had no nausea for at least 2 more weeks and I just generally did not feel pregnant. So... I say test your little hearts out if you want and hang the idea of certain symptoms being required for pregnancy. My two were totally different and this time I had absolutely no symptoms at all. Only when my cat stood on my chest and the bbs were ever so slightly teenily sore and I hadn't felt that since the D&C. If my cat hadn't steppd on my chest, I never would've thought to test.

Carla... I am thinking good thoughts for you

Elaine, It's good to hear that you can be pregnant without having symptoms. Everyone always talks about the sore boo-bays but mine don't feel any different. I guess I'll find out in a few days either way!

When I was preg the first time, I *knew* right away. I knew I was acting all wierd, almost PMSy, but just different and with both my pregnancies I immediately had a watery discharge (wierd!!) And my bbs really really hurt. I had no morning sickness but then again, I had a miscarriage, so maybe that's why...
Anyway, the 2nd time, again, watery discharge, bbs hurt somewhat, again I felt PMSy and with the 2nd one I did have a day of cramps at 10dpo with a small almost miniscule spot of blood. BUt again, miscarriage...
I've heard of people that don't have any symptoms what-so ever, I guess everyone is different. I'm crossing my fingers for you! :)

Oh and the wierdest way I knew... my cats were all over me. It was SO WIERD, it's like they knew. They never come near me usually!

Allison-Your son is adorable. Happy graduation to him!

PrincessPooh-Baby Dust for u! Good Luck!:wizard:

GypsySue-Sorry AF reared her ugly head!

Elaine-I was glad to hear about no symptoms, too. Last month I had symptoms but ended up not being pregnant. I swear I was though! Here I am at day #27 and no symptoms at all. Last month I had what I thought was implantation cramping 9 days after AI#1 but nothing unusual this month. AF should come tomorrow. I am my usual preAF self..a little irritable, crabby, emotional and slightly crampy. Afraid she will be here tomorrow.

Even if AF comes...I am still lucky; I have a great life! We'll try again soon. Probably not July cycle as it costs a lot of $$ every month trying. Plus emotionally I think I need a rest for at least one cycle.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend! NO AF! NO AF! unless u want it to come...NO AF!

Symptoms with pregnancy can be funny. A lot of PMS symptoms for me were the same as pregnancy in both cases. After the miscarriage my PMS symptoms changed and my pregnancy symptoms changed as wel. I could hardly tell the difference at all. For me the sore bbs really didn't kick in until about 7 weeks or so along. And then they HURT!!!!! I just think that going off of "symptoms" alone is never a wise idea. I was actually worried this time because I had nearly no symptoms at all... which is funny because this one is progressing so much better so far (knock on wood).

Both of the times though, I was a all emotional (as usual for me with PMS), had cramps that I thought were AF cramps about a week prior to the time AF would show (normal), ahd began to have a bit more watery discharge (again that is normal for me). sadly the mood and the discharge has kept with me for months... though I am told that watery to a lightish yellow is normal (as long as it isn't dk it's fine). Just things to keep in mind... I never would've dreamed of being pregnant last time based off of symptoms. Though this time the symptoms popped up and became worse where last time they were fading away by about 8 weeks. They now only have started to fade, though I still get uterus & ligament pull pains.

Sue forgive me I forgot to say this before (just hit me that I forgot). Sorry that AF showed

The main symptom I'm going by is not quite spotting, but almost, if that makes any sense. I have had some cramping, but not even as much as I normally have. I'm at 6 full weeks since last AF visit started, so I suppose it's still possible (5 weeks, 3 days last time) but I've been SO stressed that it seems like that's the more likely culprit (for lack of a better word). AF, before BCP, was always highly impacted by my stress level.

DH asked before he left to go back out of town (I'm following him on Tuesday, so not all week this time) if we should run to the drugstore, but I guess I'm too sure that I'm not at this point. He was so sweet, because I was afraid he might freak at how quick it may or may not have happened, but he was like...DUH yes I'd be super excited. Made me feel dumb. Either way I'm so full of hormones that I'm INSANE.

This is all making me remember part of why I went on BCP-I need my hormones regulated!!! In a big and bad way...I'm mean, I cry easily, I fight easily, I'm louder than normal...It's constant.

Can I ask u a question.... When I got the watery stuff I really thought something was very wrong... I mean it was so watery it just flowed out like I was peeing myself... i was really scared and I've read that watery can be a bad sign, or may be normal... But mostly I've read it *should* be creamy... I keep asking my MD and he doesn't give me a straight answer. (I really need a female doctor!) Then I was thinking, "Is watery not normal since I had 2 miscarriages?" UGHHH!!
Did u have the same symptom like that?
Thanks...I'm suprised I don't have a head of gray hair by now.. lol

I have been told that watery is normal. Mine goes in circles. Sometimes watery (especially at first) and now it is a bit more creamy. More discharge while pregnant is totally normal and my OB/GYN told me that anything from clear, to white, to slightly yellowish (faint) is all considered normal. I blunt asked her about that at one point. I had watery discharge with this one earlier on mostly and the baby was doing great. So nope, don't think that has anything to do with miscarriage. A lot of women talk about "leaking" just as you described. The creamy dischage is always talked about by the books, but somehow the watery part is left out. I think not all male doctors understand what we are talking about. But my OB (female) said any of that is great as long as it isn't like spotting (true bits of brown, pink or red)

Aurora, I wouldn't imagine spotting at this point would be a good sign. Like you my AF was always hindered by stress. In my case it would make her show up a week early  If you were that irregular and that far apart with cycles, did you ever get tested for hormone issues? I know that is one thing my doctor said she would have tested when I had bad PMS symptoms. Turns out nothing is wrong with me, just easily affected by stress in my case.

Well my BIL did it again... somehow he found out about the miscarriage and when he was told about this one, he was shocked and wondered why we didn't wait a year or two. After all isn't that what all are supposed to do after a miscarriage? This would be why we don't tell him much ;)
