Yeah Allison & Bethany :cool1: :cheer2:

Today is CD27...just waiting for AF. The Dr. should call me today (I hope) because I really need something to look forward to. I need to feel like I'm being proactive. I think this is the lowest I have ever felt during this journey. I hate posting this here because I don't want to bring the thread down but if I don't get it out I'm going to explode.

I think I will just go curl up in front of the fire and eat myself into oblivion.

 Don't feel bad. Everyone has down days, that's what we are all here for. I know we are all so excited by the recent surge of BFPs, but it's normal that most of us are going to have days where we just feel crappy about the whole process. It will happen for you! You are on the right track with your doctor and your day will be here before you know it. In know time at all, we'll be saying "Can you belive Rebecca's 7 months pregnant?!" Curl up in front of that fire and have a big glass of milk w/ the biggest chocolate bunny you can find:goodvibes

Jennifer

Just dropping by and Congratulations to all of the BFPs :cool1: , can't count me in there, but I'm hoping this is the year. I plan to give up for my News Years Resolution for 2008. To everyone else.

Suzanne princess:

Denae & Jennifer: Thanks for your support. I had my little pity party with 3 glasses of milk and 3 brownies (no chocolate bunnies here) then took a nap infront of the fire. Watched some soaps and waited for the phone call from the Dr (which didn't come).

Suzanne: Hang in there...believe me I know how you feel  A 2008 baby would be a great thing!!!!

So a little off topic: While wallowing today the weather started to get crazy. This was taken today
100_0017.jpg

Now yesterday it was 75 and sunny.

Also here is a photo of my furbaby who kept me company today
100_0009.jpg

She is such a sweetie...everytime I feel down she just sits with me and follows me everywhere I go.

So back on topic:
I will be calling the Dr. bright and early in the morning. I'm not waiting anymore....I WANT A BFP!!!!!

What nasty weather, and a beautiful furbaby and you go girl :cheer2:

Suzanne princess:

Rebecca, that looks like the weather we're having! Glad you have a cute pup to suggle up with!

I have no appetite? Is that normal? I went for a walk today and my lower back was killing me..had to cut it short and come back home to lie down. It feels much better now and I'll try and warm up next time before going. My OB appt is tomorrow....wow! I cannot believe all the BFPs we've had in the last couple of weeks, and all the December babies it's going to produce! :cool1: For those of you trying with no luck or just starting...hang tight...here...drink some of my water :drinking1 and many blessings and prayers to you.

For those of you that are interested who are not yet pregnant, I don't want to offend, but there's a Hebrew prayer that I prayed a good two months before I got pregnant. It's a WONDERFUL prayer and I'd be willing to PM it to any of you who are interested. In the end G-d was the one who did it, but I just know praying that prayer several times a week made a difference. I now pray the Hebrew prayer for expectant mothers and will pass that along to any of you interested. ;) :goodvibes

So I have been driving myself crazy!

Easter Sunday I took a digital HPT (clear blue easy) that I had bought months ago and never used. It said pregnant. Later that afternoon, I took the second one in the pack just to make sure...said pregnant.

Yesterday, I get it in my brain that I want to see the two lines, so I buy an equate +/- test. Negative! I maybe saw something, but it looked more like an evap line than a real positive line. So then I buy a first response test...negative. So by now I'm freaking out. I start researching on the net and find all kinds of reports of false positives with clear blue easy. I took the other equate test last night...negative. Took the other first response test this morning...negative.

So, I head to the store this morning and bought some random brand with the lines, and then a ept digital. Took the line one, and I had a faint positive line. Just took the ept digital and it says pregnant! I think I can stop worrying now, right???

My first OB appt is April 24th. I didn't tell my DH what I've done...he thinks I worry too much as it is. If I told him I just spent $50 on HPT after getting a BFP on Sunday, he'd probably think I lost it! I guess I'm just still in shock!

Allison stop worrying. :goodvibes A line is a line is a line and it means you are pregnant. It is VERY common to get false negatives this early on. I think you have your answer! :yay:

Sticky babies for all!

Denae

Wow, the baby dust is flying around here! Congrats to everyone who got a BFP lately :)

Could you pm me the prayer? Thanks :)

Allison, I agree with Denae; stop worrying.

Well, I took a test today and it was a BFN. Still no PMS symptoms though. IF AF is going to start, I hope it's soon. I don't want to deal with that at WDW.

i had a question for you ladies, i hope this isnt a stupid question, but any of you who were on BC and then stopped taking it (i was on BC for about 3 years), how long did it take for you to get regular periods again? i have been off for almost a year and mine has been just plain weird! sometimes ill skip months and sometimes ill have them for 3 weeks straight, i dont know if this is the right place to ask but i was just wondering if anyone else went through this too.

Hello all!

Denise, please PM me the prayer. I could use all the positive support I can get right now! I find that patience is something I have been having to pray for a lot lately. Anybody got a good one for that?:) Hope your feeling better soon.

Nicolita: I love your Disney princess in your siggie. That's a great question. I just recently got off BCP after a long time. It's been 3 months for me I am still all wankers (although more in length of time for my cycle and the lightness of my actual period). I haven't had unusually long cycles or skipped any. Here's what my doc told me: I should be prepared for it to happen right away even though it's unusual (Denise is a good example of that:) ), but that it would more likely take 6 months to regulate. She said in rare instances it can take up to a year to acheive a normal cycle, but that was unlikely. Hope that helps.

Allison: You're pregnant! Don't worry. How are you feeling?

Amber: Every day AF stays away is one day closer to that BFP. I hope you get it tomorrow. Baby Dust:wizard:

Rebecca: That is one cute furbaby! I think the weather looks so neat and beautiful. I think snow is the most beautiful thing. Considering it's 80 here today, I would think that.

I'm so glad Baby Noah continues to do well. I hope he gets to go home real soon!

Meredith: Lot's of sticky baby dust to you!:wizard:

All of you in the frozen north, stay warm and toasty today:goodvibes

Jennifer

Hi everyone! Very busy weekend here! I am so glad it is finally done with!

Noni, I am sorry you feel like you have to give up on TTC. I hope that just makes your children an extra blessing for you all
I didn't realize we had that many BFPs here... i need to go back and look to see who all the Nov and Dec babies are

Bethany, my doc doesn't need to confirm it right away either. They just have you come in for the first pre-natal at about 5-8 weeks and the first ultrasound between 8-12 weeks

Sue, will it make you feel better if I don't add anything to my sig or avatar? :rotfl: Seriously I doubt I would go away any time soon. Mostly because I like being here for everyone else. Y'all were here with my miscarriage and I will never forget that. And in all honesty, y'all aren't why I am not adding things to my sig. I just won't do it again this time... just was too hard otherwise.

Snoopygirl, if you didn't get a positive at all for your ovulating, have you talked to your doctor about it? That would actually bother me to not have a positive or a dip/spike in temps if charting. That would show something could be wrong.

I do hope that Noah does get to come home soon. How were the results of the MRI?

Meredith, my fingers are sooo crossed for you. We seem to have had a lot of good luck here lately with IVF!

Rebecca  What a view to have out your window (we had that on Saturday) and I am so glad you have such a friendly pooch next to you. Good luck with the doc and I agree, it is wise to take charge and not wait for them to call you.
Don't you dare feel bad for being a "downer" because first of all you are not! Secondly this group is here for good and bad... always!

Suzanne, that isn't a very good New Years Resolution ;) I dont' remember a lot of your history, but I hope this is the year for you!

Denise, not having an appetite would be normal. Actually pretty much anything is :p Some are supper hungry the first few weeks as the metabolism picks up, others aren' hungry at all and some get sick. Right now I have little appetite myself so I have to remember to eat.
Oh and I would love to see the payer. I have several friends who could use it. We always say "Thy will be done" (what we call the prayer that never fails) but a little extra prayer could never hurt ;)

Allison, way to make me a bit paranoid there. I used a Clear Blue Easy this time. However, in all honesty the ones I read were false were either a technical glitch (as in no line on the stick... there does NEED to be two lines for it to be read per the explanation on how it works... you'll see it when you eject it) or someone reading the 2nd line that is for the ovulation prediction and thinking that is the positive. I hate First Response though, and not shocked it came up negative twice. I know nothing about equate though. It sounds like you definitely are pregnant though! So yep, quit worrying ;)
When is your first OB appt?

Amber, sending you lots of PD! I hope you get it all figured out before you go to WDW. I am curious, have you talked to your doc about the extra long cycles? That might be a clue why no BFP yet.

Nicolita, there is no such thing as a stupid question here :teeth: You will get lots of different answers to the BCP question though. It took my body no time at all to go back to being regular. Sounds though, like something might be out of whack with you. Having a period for that long is enough to warrant a doc visit IMO. Most of the time it takes about 6 months max and you seem to be well enough beyond to get checked out.

Thanks! I did speak to the doctor, but she said it could be normal. Usually the cycles are the same length, but then it changed from Jan/Feb. I saw the doctor during that time and was deemed OK. She didn't want to do too much testing since I hadn't been trying long.
Really though, if I don't get pregnant on my own I am not up for testing or procedures. It's great for others, but for me I can't do it.

Hey Girlies :goodvibes

Thanks for all the support

Well I'm still waiting for AF...not even spotting yet :confused3 (of course now that I typed it I'll start to spot  ) I am getting ready to call the Dr's. I was reading last night that vitamin B6 can help with progesterone levels so I think I will pick some up today if the Dr says its OK.

Allison: YOUR PREGNANT....NO MORE POAS!!!! :lmao: Your so funny.

Amber: Hang in there

Nicolita: I would make an appt to see your Dr. Things sound a little out of wack. Do you chart or use OPK's to see if you ovulate?

Sue: I'm there with ya!!! Hang in there and we can support each other :grouphug: We will both be complaining about morning sickness soon

Meridith: I really hope you get your BFP!!!!! Keep us posted!!!

Sticky Baby Dust to our new BFPs and Baby Dust to the rest of us!!!!!

thanks for all your advice everyone, guess ill have to go see my dr.
thanks again! i knew all you disers would have great advise!

I can understand what you are thinking there! I guess I would want to know if something was wrong with me ttc or not ;) I am really not for doing procedures myself and definitely not for doing any drug help. However, if I had scarring or endometriosis, I might let them treat that. Mostly because that would get rid of the pain that usually goes with those as well. I kind of wonder about your doc though. My doc even not while ttc, was big on making sure periods were regular and not too far apart. I suspect it would be a sign of something "wrong" that she would try to help fix (like endo). Then again, she might be a lot more "picky" about that kind of thing. I suppose when not ttc, a longer period would be a blessing though :teeth:

Rebecca, what CD are you on now? You never know on anything. I've heard of low prog. levels in ladies who were okay. Not gonna say anything more to make you get hopes up too much though ;)

Just got a lot of work done for church... will need to work on it more later today. Just not much drive here to get things done :p

Part of the issue if my cycles have always been like this, so it is kind of "normal" (and yes, I did look at it as a blessing ;) ). Also, I am overweight, so that affects things too. I am trying to lose some, so hopefully that will make things easier. :)
