Good luck Kelly and keep us posted.

I am so confused. I am on cd16, and starting on cd12 I started having tons of ewcm. Now today, cd16, I have no ewcm but watery, thin cm. I am using an OPK and it shows no O yet. What's going on? I thought the watery, thin cm comes before ewcm, and I haven't even O yet? Help! :confused3

Are you temping? If you have had a temp spike that has sustained for 3 days, then you already O'd. What kind of OPK kit are you using? I found Early Response ones to be very unreliable. I kept getting a negative result, and then I switched to a CVS brand, and it was positive! Now, I know my levels could have increased in the day that I switched, but there was barely a line on the FR ones. I would keep watching for EWCM. I had a lot of creamy cm after I O'd - not thin. So...keep looking. ;)

No, I am not temping. I am using Clearblue Easy Digital. I used them last month too and it said I O'd on cd13, but I didn't have ewcm for almost a week later. I am starting to wonder about them. :scratchin

congrats Mel!!!

had a long weekend of halloween parties! now i am sick with a sinus thing/cold.

have done my first 3 shots (100iu) of follistim. DH did them for me. not bad. have to do the fourth one tonight on myself since he is going out of town for a few nights for work. i hope i can do it! Today is CD8. i have my first of 3 consecutive u/s tomorrow to see how i am doing on the follistim. i don't have any o type pains like i did with the clomid. i would already be feeling the follicles by now w/ clomid, so it has me worried that i am not responding well to it. guess we'll see.

They did insemination today 47 million for Kevin I go in for beta on the 13th. Goodluck with the glonal f Michelle it isn't as bad as it seems.

&&&& Lisa! Hope the 13th is a lucky day for you!

Congrats Mel!

&&&& Michelle!

Mickeybar - I would advise you to dump the OPKs and just start temping. OPK's never worked for me. Temping is very accurate (and so much cheaper!).

Elaine - hope you are having a blast!

Carla - how are you feeling?

Kelly - sorry about the BFN. Any news today?

The problem is that I haven't been sleeping very well lately, and I wake up at different times of the morning so I thought it wouldn't work very well. I did buy a thermometer but I haven't used it before.

So today is CD20. My cycles are approx. 24 days. Noramlly I would have sore bbs, cramps and hot flashes. I have...NOTHING!!! Now I don't know what that means...where are my PMS symptoms??? :confused3

I hate the 2WW

Mickeybar - set your alarm for like 330 AM. All you have to do is roll over, hit snooze, grab the thermometer, temp. Then reset your alarm. Takes about 30 seconds :O) If you can find a therm with memory, even better! No need to try and remember your temp! Or just keep a piece of paper/pen next to the alarm :) I just never had luck with OPK's. Never told me anything. I think you only need 3 continuous hours of sleep for an accurate temp. If you can do it for 2 - 3 cycles (and you don't have to do it during AF or after you ovulate...so really only like a couple of weeks a month), you will have a great understanding of what your body is (or isn't) doing. Then go off what signals your body is sending each month, if you don't feel like temping anymore :) Good luck to you!

Rebecca - &&&&&&

Thanks Minnesota! That sounds easy. I guess I will start temping tomorrow. DH is gonna kill me with that alarm going off everyday. Oh well, it's worth it.

good luck Lisa- i can't wait to hear the results! did you do injections this cycle? how were your follies etc? :cheer2:

Rebecca, good luck to you too! isn't it funny how we over-analyze ever single symptom or non-symptom! it is all the fun of the 2WW i guess. lots of baby dust for you and let us know!

Hi all!

Ash - sorry to hear about your uncle. Hang in there!

LisaB - good luck - hope this cycle is the one that works for you!

Mel - Congrats!! Woo hoo! It's so encouraging to hear about each BFP!

mickeybar - it took me a few weeks to get into the habit of temping every morning, but now it's a normal part of my routine. Every so often I miss a morning or I have to temp at a different time, but I use fertilityfriend.com to track my temps and it helps sort out all those glitches. The main thing is to temp within a "typical" range of I think it's about 45 minutes. So there's a little bit of variance between my temp times, but it works out okay.
And don't worry about the CM - if you keep tracking it each month, you'll start to get a sense for what your body does each month. I always have a lot of CM (even after O when most women should have no CM), so it's taken me a long time to dicipher the subtle changes week to week.

The hardest part is being patient - I sometimes get so frustrated that women only O once a month (in my case once every 32 to 43 days) and I hate having to wait for the next cycle to try again when there's a BFN.

IMarriedGrumpy - I so feel you on the frustration that we only have that one chance a month, and it comes up SO quick, but then it seems to take FOREVER to come around again.

Ash - I forgot to say i am sorry to hear about your uncle (((hugs)))

Mickeybar - it is worth it. And you will soon be quick enough that you will catch it and hit snooze within the first 1/2 buzz :) Just tell DH you are preparing him for the baby waking you guys up each middle of the night :)

I am the same way!! I feel completely fine - no sore bbs, no PMS symptoms - nothing! And AF should be arriving any day now?!?!? Very strange...... :confused3

I held out and didn't test yesterday! ;) I just don't want to see that BFN again. Maybe I will today....as long as AF doesn't come!

Kelly- you are keeping us in suspense! i can't wait for you to test! good luck!

well had my first u/s to check on my reaction to the follistim (1st inj cycle). not so good. it is feast or famine she said with me. on the clomid 50mg, i had 7 mature follies (2 cycles). this time, only 3 follies worth anything- one at 19.5, 17 and 14.5. a few others at like 10 or less, which don't count. targeting the insem for friday, so by then, the 19.5 will probably be overmature. so that leaves me with only 2 potentials. very disappointed in that. they only had me on 100iu in case i overstimulated, and it wasn't enough i guess. that sucks! oh well, nothing i can do now. I am not guaranteed the 2 i have will produce an egg either. out of the 7 contenders i had the last 2 cycles, only 4 ovulated. oh well- wish me luck!

i had to do one more 100iu shot tonight, then the trigger tomorrow night. at least my drugs (shots) were free this time, so it only cost me $62 this cycle for the trigger shot.

for those that had success with the injections- how many follies did you have? i am losing hope and think this cycle is a bust with only 2 potentials. :guilty:

Sounds like alot of us are having a crappy month. :sad2: I'm due the 3rd, today was another bfn. I'm feeling a little crampy and beachy, if you know what I mean. I think just knowing af is on her way adds to the attitude. Next month is number 5 for us. I was using opks, but they're always right on when I think I'm ovulating, so I'll save my money next month and use it for more dollar store hpt. ::yes:: I'm another person who can't temp. I work nights, so my sleeping schedule is very inconsistent.

Enough for now...

any new results yet from my cyber friends? :listen:

I'm right there with ya...it breaks my heart everytime it is a BFN. I have not tested yet and AF is due on the 4th. I have a DR. appt. on the 2nd to have my hormone levels tested. Maybe they will tell me i'm pregnant??? Wishful thinking I know but......

Keep us updated Kelly if you test :wizard:

:grouphug: Michelle...keep a positive attitude...two is better than none...it could still happen. :goodvibes

:wizard:

Ya - this does sound like not a great month here! (Well, except for Mel!!!) This afternoon I have been getting really bad cramps and that "feeling" that AF is here - like I am leaking and I don't know it!! I keep going to the bathroom, expecting to have gotten it - but nothing is there. Maybe tomorrow? I hate this!!!! :sad2:

Well, leaving work in a few minutes. My internet isn't working at home....so I will have to post tomorrow and let you guys know after I test this afternoon. I am 12 DPO, so if there is a BFN today....I think I have lost all hope for this month. :sad1: O well....maybe I should call my OB and make an appointment for her to run bloodwork and stuff? I know it's only been 5 months, but I can't take it anymore!!
