Christal, I totally blanked. What surgery did you have last month? I admit I try to keep everything straight but sometimes I forget who has which procedure
I just remember after my D&C last Nov, the next month was HORRIBLE for me. It was the worst AF I have ever experienced in my life and I have some bad ones. I hope you are feeling better soon though

WOo hoo on good test results!

Denea, sorry about the rough day. I know you posted on another thread and I am glad all is better now (I hope still)

AF arrived today. To say I am bitterly disappointed would be an understatment. We are going to try another IUI, so back on the Clomid I will go.

 for Denae. I hate fights.

ChrizJen, I too had a horrible first AF after my Endo surgery. Hope you feel better soon.

Elaine, I hope you are feeling better, too. I know this a hard time for you, you are in my thoughts

Well, tomorrow I am starting round 2 of Clomid- 100mg this time around, so I can't wait to see what the side effects will be this time....ugh.

Good luck to everyone this month! Here's wishing lots of babydust for this board!

GypsySue - sorry about AF.

Dznylvr - a flea! Yuck! I found what I thought was a fly's head in some fries, once. :sad2:

Fight is over, I did let him get in the last word, and all is well.

I have a dentist appointment today - need a couple of fillings - should be fun!

Denae

ugh I bought a 3 pack of preg tests at lunch and I'm contemplating on taking one. One minute I say "yes I'll take it" and the next I say "no, cause what if it's a faint positive, and last time that happened and I had a miscarriage"
Plus it's wierd... I don't feel like I'm preg, but I also don't feel like AF is on her way either. I still have no soreness in bbs, which is very odd since I ALWAYS get at least a little bit before AF. Then of course this makes me think "well what if I'm preg and I don't have sore bbs and that means miscarriage" I'm just scarred for life with this until I actually have a baby.
What should I do??? It's 11dpo today.

DznyLvr...GROSSS...:scared: Sorry about your yucky experience at breakfast!

Elaine - I had surgery to remove Endometreosis last month. I'm feeling so much better today than yesterday though!! I'm still really tired, but the pain is not as bad...

GypsySue - Sorry about AF...Good luck on the next round. Thanks for sharing your experience with AF after your endo surgery. I'm beginning to think it's just the way AF is after a procedure like that.

Denae - Glad to hear you and DH were able to patch things up. Sometimes it's best just to let the other have the last word...;) Hope things went well (as well as they CAN go) at the dentist!!

I start my 2nd round of Clomid on Sunday...I'll knock on wood, but I had NO side effects from the Clomid on the first go-round...here's hoping for a good second round! :thumbsup2
I went to the lab today and had a bunch of blood drawn. I should know what all I'm being tested for, but for the life of me, I don't.
All I know is that she's testing me for a bunch of hormone levels...so she knows whether anything else needs to be tweaked before we try again...So I'll let you in on all of that when I get the results back.

Good luck and baby dust to all!! :wizard:
Have a GREAT weekend!

What brand did you get? If it's the early, you should be able to get a faint positive by now....GO for it!! :yay:

And even if it is a faint positive, that doesn't mean that the same thing is going to happen all over again. Each time is different.

But if you do, you'd BETTER get right back on here and report your results!!

I got CVS brand, because it says on the package "compare to first response" and it's one of those 5 days sooner tests.

I know, but I'm already a nervous person and I just happen to think the worst, because I can't help it!

haha.. of course I will!! I think I might wait until tomorrow morning, even though it's gonna kill me!! I figure they say first morning urine is best and I dont' want a faint positive if it's gonna be positive. Plus I'll be home and feel better about it being home.

I totally understand...I probably wouldn't want to do one at work either...LOL
Well, good luck when you do!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! :goodvibes

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG.. I broke down and took it... FAINT POSITIVE!!!
Please don't congradulate me.. i'm so nervous and of course am thinking something is wrong...
But still my period is due on Monday or Tuesday so maybe thats why it's faint

Let me be the first not to congratulate you. Yippee! A line is a line is a line, you know.  :cheer2: :cheer2:

When I was pregnant the first test I took had very faint positive line. Two days later I took another test and both lines were extremely obvious. Good luck to you, you certainly deserve this.

Beth, thank you so much... it would be a year ago today that I went to the doc and was told that my baby had died :( Trying my best to think of this little one more..

Christal, sorry I meant to ask specifically what procedure you had done. I know some friends had a D&C for endo and others did a few different things. If you had a D&C I wish I could have warned you about the period after. They are always a bugger.

Dznylvr, yay!!!! Thinking lots of good thoughts for you.

YEAH!!!! Congrats!!!! :cool1: :cool1:   :dance3:

Mine was really faint at first as well. Then I tried a different brand and got a nice bright BFP.

Okay... lurker no more. In need of some of this baby luck. I've been reading the posts and watching how one by one baby luck has come to so many of you. Congrats! Now hoping it continues to rub off.
First off is anyone here trying and 35 or older? Anyone have success over 35yrs? I currently have 2 boys, one through adoption and the other came along after 10 YEARS of medical assistance. It's been 5 years since my son was born and we were hoping to add 1 more child to our family. This time with no medical assitance. I'm also done with temping, charting, Clomid and O tests. Might be open to that Geritol thing. Anyone have experience with that??

Wasn't sure whether I should post here or on the menopause thread.:) Convince me that I have a few years left until the egg carton is empty.:sad1:

Welcome!! :goodvibes

There are lots of success stories for women who are 35 or older. My sister is 35 and thought she was headed into early menopause but it turns out she was pregnant...she is now 12 weeks along. Also my Dad's mom was 38 when she got pregnant with the triplets.

So there is always hope!!!
