Any OCTOBER guests received FP+ testing invite?

As of right now, FP+ and regular FP are not linked and can be used separately.

What a situation... we have two linked stays at BLT made with 2 member numbers:

9/26-10/5
10/5-10/8

So the testing window for BLT is from 9/30 onward. So part of our 1st reservation and all of our second fall into the window.

CM's cannot tell me what that means for me.

1) Can I only have MB for 10-5/10/8 because only this res falls entirely in the window?

2) Will they let me have MB for 9/30-10/8?

3) Or will they magically give it to us for the while shebang?


They're "not sure", but wouldn't guarantee anything other than MB for 10/5-10/8.

So I think we'll pass, thanks!!

Lawdy! I first thought we were going to be out of luck as far as Magic Bands but now we have Magic Band offers out the wazoo! Lol

3 way split stay. Pop>BLT>AKV Kidani I already have in possession MB from Pop and made all my FP+ selections. Now MDE is telling me I have 2 more sets of MB to customize. Poor Disney is gonna go broke giving these MB out. Lmao

Going by what I've read here I believe the MB I already have will work for all resorts for length of 3 resort stays. I don't think I need to arrive with 12 bands????

Anyone else think I do?

I hope they sort oyt the issue of multple MBs soon. And don't all these extra bands with RFID chips end up in the landfill?

They added a bunch of resorts to test this month and next. Ones not previously announced.

Just got off the phone with IT and they said I do not need to customize/order the other two sets of MB.

I have been choosing my fastpass+ options and I have noticed that the availability for any of the night time events and parades are very sparse. I was only able to get 1 FP+ for Fantasmic on our first day, but as for any other event like fireworks, parades etc these have not come up as available options. Have others had the same experience?

Hi M2CG! Yes we got ours yesterday for our stay at WL from 30 Oct. Customisation done. Disney said they won't ship ours as we are in Australia so we will just pick up our Customised bands when we check in.

I checked out your tutorial. I noticed you booked through Travelocity. Did you also get tickets through Travelocity? If so, were you able to link them on MDE? I am very bummed bc we are at POR, so we have magicbands (already customized and here in our house , but we can't do fastpass+ bc we can't get our Travelocity tickets to link. If you know ANY way to help, PLEASE tell me.

No, my tickets are annual passes that I bought through Disney, and I still can't get one of them to link.

Do you have the actual ticket from Travelocity, yet, or is it a Will Call? Will your tickets be shipped to you, or did you book it as a package?

Travelocity might have provided you with a ticket confirmation. Have you tried choosing "Will Call" for your ticket option and entering a confirmation number?

We have a split stay both at CBR. last night I customized our MB & did FP+ for the days of our pkg. I wasn't able to do anything for the first 2 nights, room only ressie b/c it's not showing park admission. My 5 night tickets are with the pkg. I was going to pick them up early with the RO ressie. Tonight I went to MDE & there is another set of MB to customize. That seems like such a waste. I still can't make FP+ b/c there still aren't park tickets attached.
Wondering if I should do different colors for the 2 ressies so we can keep the MB straight? I figured they would just put all the info together after I checked in

I think the parades, fireworks are only on the weekends or not loaded yet for October, someone suggested checking closer to your arrival date.
FP+ options at MK could be sparse due to MNSSP; that is going on 4 of the 6 nights we will be at the parks. I did notice that when I went in to my selections to make changes, there were times that I did not see when I first did it.

I have will call tix. I have tried every possible number I see, but they won't link....have also tried calling tech support and tix services...no luck.

We are staying at CBR on 10/26-11/02. Went on MDE yesterday and was allowed to customize Magic Bands and pick Fastpasses. I had not received a letter or e-mail notifying us that we were eligible, so I called Disney. The gentlemen I spoke said that we were eligible for the test, also mentioned that the Magic Band test for CBR was in late October, not the entire month.

Port Orleans Riverside - Oct 6-9. The agent told us we might get the email for it and we did almost immediately. We have customized our bands, rec'd them in the mail and done FP+ choosing.

Thanks to all of you wonderful folks on this thread, I knew to go check MDE for our 10/31 check-in at CSR. We're customized and FP+ scheduled.

SUPER excited to have FP+ scheduled for our day (late arrival) at Epcot. To KNOW we have spots on TT and Soarin' is a huge relief.

Incredibly appreciative of the info everyone shares on here to help out first-timers like us.
