Any OCTOBER guests received FP+ testing invite?

Staying at BLT Oct. 6-11. As of yesterday I was able to customize our Magic bands and make our FP+ selections!!! SO EXCITED!!!

Hey guys. I've been totally out of the DIS world for a bit so forgive my cluelessness.

We're going Oct 11-19 staying at AKV & just got the invite. I'm not sure what to do. Here's my concerns...

1. I have two tickets I'll be using, the final 3 days of my AP that's still in my Maiden name & then a 6 day park hopper. Will that be an issue????

2. We are a big party from three different households. Problem?

3. We are staying on my DVC points in two different villas. Problem?

4. Some of my ADRs will not show up on the MDE no matter what I do. Called WDW & they said to call tech support but haven't had the time. They dis see those ADRs & had no idea why they wouldn't show up.

All these considered should I not bother?

If I were you, I'd log into My Disney Experience and add your reservations (you can add for both villas). If you aren't sure how to do this, I actually just wrote a tutorial here. And then order your Magic Bands (tutorial coming soon!).

The multiple households shouldn't be a problem because you can add everybody as friends and family. Just enter their names and send them email invites. Or, you can choose to manage all of their accounts from your own.

Go ahead and add your AP with three remaining days, but do not add your 6-day park hopper. Wait until you get to WDW to add the 6-day. I've read a few threads where people accidentally activated tickets intended for later stays by adding multiple tickets to their Magic Bands. I think this is a problem that will probably be fixed in the future, but with the Magic Bands still in beta testing, I wouldn't risk it.

We just found out that we can get MBs with our BLT stay, but already have them for our AoA stay.

2 sets of MBs!!

From what I've read, during the test period, you'll need to use your new band. However once MB are no longer testing, you'll be able to keep yours and use the same one for up to three years.

The Magic Band FAQ says that you can reuse bands for multiple trips.

We are arriving 10/5 and staying at All Star Music Family Suite. We do NOT have access to fast pass+ or Magic bands yet. Anyone arriving at All Star Music early October get FP+ or magic bands? I'm reading all this about resorts being live in October but not for us!

We're at FW Cabins October 19-26, and nothing for us, either. Strange..

Hopefully FW will be rolling out more invites soon. My parents have a room only reservation (we have a package), and they got their invite too. Keep checking!

Thanks, Luv2Camp.. I had only been checking once a day for the past few weeks, until the invite influx I found while waiting at the side of the road this morning!

I think we have to use the bands designed for the reservation, but I can try when we check in.

I'm also curios about this we are staying at BWV From 10/18-10/21 however we have to switch rooms 10/18-10/20 std.view and 10/20-10/21 boardwalk view anyway since its 2 separate reservations its letting me customize 2 sets of magic bands. I wonder if I can just use the first set for the room switch. Also we have our AP's linked and I'm a little nervous having them linked to 2 different bands.

Checked today and was able to order MB for OKW for Oct 19-26. I didn't think they would be in the test phase in Oct but happy they are.

I think we'll do it, but here is the oft-repeated question: DOES THIS TEST ALLOW USE OF GOOD-OLD-FASTPASS AS WELL?

Since we're so close to the trip and have our "plan" set figuring regular FP, I hesitate to test unless I can still use that this trip.

Got the letter via UPS today and an email that we have been chosen to test MM+ and FP+ for our Oct 11-16th trip at BCV. Customized the magicbands today, but I need to link everyone tickets to the reservation prior to being able to do the FP+. Me and my mom have annual passes, but the other 3 have magic your way passes. So once I link all those I should be good to start the FP+

I checked out your tutorial. I noticed you booked through Travelocity. Did you also get tickets through Travelocity? If so, were you able to link them on MDE? I am very bummed bc we are at POR, so we have magicbands (already customized and here in our house , but we can't do fastpass+ bc we can't get our Travelocity tickets to link. If you know ANY way to help, PLEASE tell me.

Having issues again as DS and DH are showing as ineligible for.FP+ again, even though MB and FP+ are all selected. Would like to try for a Fantasmic FP+ and can't. Hoping that my completing online checkin will resolve this. Funny that DH received an email invite a day or two ago when all of our selections have already been made. Any advice or assurances anyone can offer? Even.just the IT direct phone number as I may have to call them again later. They did fix things up before, so I'm sure they'll be able to again.

As of right now, FP+ and regular FP are not linked and can be used separately.
