Any OCTOBER guests received FP+ testing invite?

I had no notification either but went on the site and customized my bands. I could change mine up to September 23 ( we check in October 24 AKV). I was also able to Fastpass+ 3 rides per park. I like knowing I will be able to get on all our favorite rides. I still plan on doing rope drop, but now it won't be as stressful.

For those who have customized bands, have any shipped yet? How long did it take after you customized for your bands to ship?

It looks like they ship out about 30 days prior. I have 25 days left to modify the order, and 55 days left until we arrive Oct 19. My guess is they are using the 30 day mark to make sure the trips are paid in full, not canceled, before sending out, similar to waiting to send the Mickey mail/travel documents.

Amazing, we had already finished our fast pass selections for our days and just now from your tip went in and linked our MNSSHP tickets to MDE and selected FPP for 3 attractions from 4 to 7!
We are usually AP holders but this year did not renew, only purchased 5 day tickets but thanks to you got an extra set of FPP!
I am in awe of your awesomeness!

I did the same for MNSSHP night! FP+ from 4-7. I used one on Tomorrowland Speedway. There's always such a long, slow line and my DS loves it *ugh* Maybe if we can get that one over with then and there, I won't have to endure it again on our other 2 MK days (and especially not waste time on it during morning touring). hopefully this doesn't backfire on me..and he'll just want to ride it more! lol.

So what are people's game plans for selecting FP's? Any tips/tricks we know of yet...it's all still pretty new!

I am finding it challenging to think of where my family will be in each park at a specific enough time to select a FP. It's fun as anything but makes you scratch your head!

We're staying at WL 10/19-10/26, so I'm not expecting Magic Bands (although I am pouting a bit). BUT, will I be eligible for FP+? Or is that only for Magic Band folks? If I will be eligible for FP+, when might that open up on MDE?

Right now, only guests at resorts that are included in the test are eligible for FP+ reservations.

Does anyone know the official word on when parades and shows will be added to FP+ selection list? I have heard 30 days out but I was able to select (and it shows in My Plans) an Illuminations FP+ for 10/20 which is greater than 30 days out?

OKW reservation here and I don't think we'll get chosen. It's not the end of the world; my family & I can still use the FP- system.

However, it has been mentioned that FP+ will go live in November. My dates are 10/31 - 11/09. So.....I'm wondering how that will work. I'm wondering if I should just keep checking the MDE website and seeing if I can make FP+ choices.

I know I don't have anything to fret over, but it's frustrating not having answers. Especially for someone like me who has OCD and needs to be in control. lol

Oh....and I am very happy for the October peeps who were able to log on and get your FP+ choices & magic bands.

So I have read about the idea but can anyone who has gone and tested verify this? Does it give you the option to select a new FP+ after you use one. So say you have FP+'s at 9am, 10am, and 11am...after you use the 9am one will it allow you to select another FP+ for later in the day?

We are REALLY hoping to get MB's for our upcoming trip. I've become a bit obsessed We have the free dining package with tickets booked at CBR 10/26-11/3. I've read through this thread over the past couple of days and of course there's some conflicting info. One person said they are at CBR in October and have MB's, which doesn't seem consistent. Another said IT told them that all resorts are scheduled to roll out on Nov 1. What does this mean for a stay that starts in Oct and ends in Nov? I am considering making a room only reservation for 10/25 at Pop to get MB. We need a hotel room anyway the night we arrive so it seems like an easy solution. Thoughts? Thanks in advance for any advice!!!

Except I wasn't given the opportunity to select any dates! Didn't others get this message just a couple days before they could customize their MBs and select fastpasses? Tomorrow will be 60 days so I'm excited to see what MDE will show in the morning!!!

I did get that message before I was able to do my FP+ and Magic bands. I think that's kind of the default thing that happens at this point. I don't remember CBR being one of the resorts testing, but truthfully haven't been following too closely since we are staying at Pop Century. Mine all opened on day 57, but I think that's when they turned on October. So not sure about your situation with your late October date and your resort. Hope someone else can help more

Same thing has been popping up for some time. Staying at CSR mid November. It has to be the default.

We also have a late October/ early November stay. I was able to personalize my Magic Bands last week but I still can't make any FP+ reservations. I keep getting the error message as well. Not sure what's going on, but I keep checking MDE daily just in case! Good luck!!

I'm getting the same message. I'm at Pop but still 62 days out. Hopefully at 60 days the it will work.

Staying at the Poly Oct 24- Nov2. Somewhere around day 62-63 I was able to customize my band & Day 60 I was able to make my FP+ choices and do online check-in.

The only grumble I have so far is how tedious it is to select/adjust FP+ times. It seems really cumbersome to have to change one at a time.

If one switches resorts from a testing resort to a non-testing resort after selecting FP+s and customizing magic bands, will the magic bands and FP+ reservations still be active. I have heard they disappear from your reservations online, but has anyone actually tried this out?

I haven't done it, but it makes sense. If you no longer stay at a test resort, there is no reason for you to get the things that come with the testing.

ETA: I read your post as totally switching resorts prior to arrival, and not just doing a split stay. Not sure how it would work with a split stay, though, either.
