Any OCTOBER guests received FP+ testing invite?

We just got an email this morning that we were selected for the magic bands in October. Is it likely that we will get to do fast pass + too? I would love to try it on this trip when we won't have our six kids with us...

Yes, the test resorts are testing both the bands and FP+. People going in October got access to both last week. No need to wait for a formal invite. Happy planning!

I am at AKV Jambo from Oct 26 to Nov 3 and was able to make FastPass+ selections for all of my days today (60 days to go).

I was able to customise my MagicBand last week.

Very exciting!

Not yet, going in December and hoping for invite soon.

I think it will be awhile for December invites. Actually there are rumors circulating that it will go live in November, so you may not even need an invite. I am anxiously waiting to hear what actually happens for our November trip. There are a lot of Oct guests booking them for close to our dates, because they are Oct into Nov.

We are last week of October! fP+ opened up this morning. Got most of what I want...Friday 11/1 was a bust...hardly any options loaded and dumbo/barnstormer I need between 11-12 and they only had 9-10 open or 1-2... Wierd...maybe not everything is loaded yet?

Was able to do my fastpass plus picks today. We will be at the yacht club oct 26 - nov 2.

It was fairly simple to use.

We already picked our MB colors. However, I'm waiting for our 60 day mark. We check-in at BC on 10/30 and looks like cannot make any FP+ until our online check in day. Can you tell that I am very impatient at this point?

Does this mean test resorts only? We are staying at POFQ and I have been debating a switch to POR to get the FP+ opportunity as it seems that regular FP are also obtainable as we as your advance FP+ which seems like a great option for a couple late park arrivals (non rope drop days). It will cost $76 more to switch as rates have increased, but if FP+ allows regular FPs and FP+ this seems like money well spent? Would you agree?

Well, poop! Guess I can re-direct the money I was planning to spend to dress up my magic band toward something else. Oh well, at least I'm staying at the resort I really wanted, with FD!!

I chatted to a CM last night, just out of curiosity.. asked if there was any information about adding more resorts for MB in October, since no new ones had been added yet... he didn't say there wouldn't be any additions.. just that 'unfortunately that information hasn't been announced yet'. so, I'm not losing hope yet!!

I had no clue what times to pick? I just went for mid-afternoon, when I figured it would be busiest...

I know I read somewhere that double dipping may be possible - do we have to wait until after our FP+ is used to get that?

Double dipping refers to the ability to run your ticket through the FP machine at your attraction while still having a FP+ reservation. So essentially you will only be able to dd once you get into the park.
