Any new updates for late spring?

My father called to make a change to our reservations and the woman told him to look in March for Mid May discounts and was adamant that they would be nothing out until then. Now we KNOW they are a fountain of misinformation (she also said they only send private code emails never postcards...lol) but mouse savers historically has early January. This is our third trip mid May since 2010 ( last trip was 2013). Last year at this time there were already rumors of discounts coming early January. Hoping for a RO discount as we don't want the dining plan.
