Any ME EARLY (4-5 a.m.) experiences to share?

Hi!

just wondering if anyone has used ME early in the a.m. - we are scheduled to be picked up at 4:00a.m. I called ME and they assured me that this was all set to happen, no problem. I know several posters have mentioned ME not running that early...to have faith or not to have faith, that is the question!

We also have a early am flight - 6:30am NWA. When I called several times they assured me that they would schedule the pick up apprx. 2hrs & 45 min prior to flight. That gives us a pretty early wake up call. I think at this time in the morning ME pretty much runs on demand only. However, I believe if you are flying one of the carriers that you can get boarding passes at the resort site, then that's where you're out of luck because I'm hearing that they don't open that desk until 6am. You would just have to take bags with you to airport and check in like normal.

Well, I'm glad someone else has been told the same thing I was! I don't mind the luggage thing so much as long as the transportation is reliable! Thanks! Anyone else?

Some friends of ours recently had an 8am flight and were picked up at 4:45 am. They were on Delta, but could not use the resort check-in due to the early time. They even tried the resort check-in the afternoon before right at 2pm, but the airlines are strict on the 12 hours in advance. Since their bags were already packed, they just stored them with luggage service the night before so they wouldn't have to deal with them that early in the morning.
