Any Canadian receive one in your inbox?

It sucks that most of the PINs require you to stay on site to use them. We are camping at a nearby RV park.

Nope. Around 2009-2010, I got quite a few, but sadly nothing since then.

Got a free dining offer for select dates beginning in January 2014. Unfortunately, it's useless for us.

We're totally shut out for our October trip this year as we're going during one of the blackout periods. I'm pretty unhappy with our timing - the CM I spoke to couldn't even give us a CAA discount for the room.

Seriously? Has the economy turned around that dramatically? I'm toying with the idea of cancelling my reservation and staying offsite; $133 night for Pop Century seems excessive when I can stay at the Gaylord Palms or any number of resort level hotels for the same $ (or less) using Priceline.

Ummmm.....thats kind of the whole point of a PIN to get you to stay onsite and spend your money there.:rolleyes2

?????????????????

Um, a PIN is either a room only discount or a vacation package discount. How could they give you one of these for an offsite vacation?

I need to scratch my head here since the pins are for discounts from Disney to stay on Disney property???

I've never received a PIN.:confused3

I'm holding out for some type of discount for November. Ideally, Room Only discount on a deluxe.

my mother in law received a pin for free dining in December (about 6 weeks ago) but its not valid for the week we are going..and we got the CAA discount which is a bigger discount than the free dining anyways.

What was your CAA Discount for your package?

Free dining saves us approx. $1197 for the 7 nights for my family of 3.

Every year we check what the CAA package price is -vs- the best promo and it has never saved us near the amount free dining has saved us.

Do you know what dates in December as that's when we are going? Thanks

I received a PIN for room discount in January but would prefer free dining. *o*

There is not going to be Free Dining for January.

Disney has just released the Play /Stay/Dine promo via pins.
That offer should flip to a general public offer in the next few weeks.

They would not offer "Free dining" as a General public offer after they released the S/P/D promo.

Logically everyone who booked S/P/D/ would then cancel that ressie and rebook under "Free dining" as it would save them more money.

its excludes Dec 7-14, as that is when we are going...and I think it went until Dec 22nd..I read somewhere else on the boards that the offer will be made public on August 1st

The CAA discount on our package was almost $1600, free dining would be $1500.. not much of a change, but I figure we can save money by eating cheaper when we are down there (we have a full kitchen, and there are 6 of us)

Nice, yes you can eat for a lot cheaper.

Our CAA discount has never been more then 15% off the package every year. It usually was equal to a 10% discount off a moderate resort.
