any lottery news??

I know the lottery is today for add-ons at BWV and OKW. Has anyone heard anything? Just wondering how the "winners" will be notified, etc.

I got impatient, what can I say? I called and spoke to someone at DVC admin. # since my guide is on vacation. He said the lottery has happened, but that the results are not yet in. He said all of the sales people were in a meeting -possibly working on it. He said to check back later.

Chuckled when I read your post...was wondering the same thing all morning and keep checking in....chuckled even hard when I read your response to your own post Guess I'm glad to know nobody has been notified yet....cause I haven't been either But Good Luck to all who entered. If I hear something, I'll be sure to post so that people will be aware that SOMETHING has happened anyways.

Well, I wonder what's going on, usually it's pretty easy to run a lottery & let the winners know... Why do you think they need a meeting on how to handle it?? It's rather odd I think.... & yup, my guide is in a meeting....

According to my guide, there were two people ahead of me! Such a fuss over 28 BWV points! Anyway, I was kind of bummed.

I had to call to get the information. I hope everyone else has better luck.

Just got off the phone w/ someone who checked with my "substitute guide". He said that she said she didn't know anything right now, but I've been told she'll call as soon as she knows something... hmmm... sounds like a Junior High conversation...

Kelly, I'm sorry you didn't get those 28 points!!! I still haven't heard, but I pretty much assume I didn't get chosen either... There were just far too many people and not nearly enough points... That's why they didn't open it up to all 56,000 members!! At least that's what my guide said... Basically they called back all their contacts that had expressed interest in an add on after the resort sold out.... What a bummer... Hopefully somebody on the DIS got some extra points!

pluvc, sounds like you'll get good news!! Which resort/use year were you looking for?

My guide called me at 6... She doesn't know anything, the woman that's been notifying the guides has gone home, and she hasn't heard from her... so no news til tomorrow... I have terrible lottery luck though, I've come to grips with that LOL....
