Any Little House on the Prairie Fans?

Ok, LHOTP fans. Who, besides me, has all 9 seasons on DVD? :)

I'm a huge, huge, fan (as you can see by my previous posts) but I don't have all the DVDs. It's on tv so many times a day that I just felt I could never justify the expense...(rather put the money into my Disney trip savings :goodvibes ).

I do have some on VHS though, from way back when.

I also LOVED this show as a little girl and did not realize it was still on in reruns! I will look for them now!

I read all the books at least once as a little girl. And now I have the Books on CD, we get each one as its released. These are SO GOOD! The lady that reads them is amazing. (Her name is Cherry Jones and she has won a Tony on Broadway) My mom and I were listening to By the Shores of Silver Lake on one long trip and she was so amazed by the way the kids were quiet and still listening for 3 hours. Later she was saying how good the books on cd were and said that the narrator's voice had become Laura to her and after so many years of Melissa Gilbert becoming Laura to us all how amazed she was that this narrator had achieved that.

Just thought I would mention that for all the Little House fans out there!

The guy who played Percival died of AIDS and Allison Arngram became an AIDS activist because of it .

I remember being so sad when he died. I love to hear Allison Arngram talk about their friendship.

It looks like we have enough interest for a fan club. Maybe we should even have a field trip to the Little House sites, and of course, throw WDW into the mix. :) Hey Princess Pumpkin I didn't know Willie and Laura were really brother and sister.
Yes, but Laura is adopted, so they don't look a like.

Right -- Laura and Willie are brother and sister in real life and both adopted

Albert and Andy Garvey are brothers -- both adopted

Miss Etta Plum is Michael Landon's daughter - nepotism. She also played the pregnant woman in the stage coach when Mary and Adam were going to receive the Louis Braille award and the stage coach flipped over, etc. And the character played the dishwasher co-worker with Laura Wilder was going to summer school in Arizonia.
Wow I did not know all of this!!!

Mine are on order from Amazon.com. I have to say, I was inspired to order based on all the comments and interesting information I got from this thread.

Thanks Snow Brite. I love listening to books when I'm driving. It's multitasking that I enjoy. I'm glad you found out about the reruns.
