Do any of you have things you like to do on your last day or night at WDW before going home? Maybe something as your last memory of the trip? Would anyone like to share theirs?

Thank you,
Lori

our last day is usually an "unstructured" day where we can just park hop and hit those things that we either missed or want to do one last time. Then we usually have dinner in Epcot at a nice restuarant...usually Le Cellier, and then go to DTD for a bit before we head off to the resort for our last night.

Then the day we check out, we always have a big breakfast as our final thing at the resort and if there is anything there that we want to do (other than swim) we do those things before we head out.

we usually get lunch at the GF Cafe, although we deviated from this tradition the last time we went :wave2:

For our last nights dinner, we always eat at Teppanyaki in Epcots Japan. ::MickeyMo

For a last night tradition we also go to DDT. Kids love the lego play area. MIL and I like to shop!

btw, a first night tradition is to just ride the monorail from MK to EPCOT-jsut to get a feel for it all!

Last Day.
Usually eat breakfast in our hotel room, but on the last day, we splurge at eat out. This year we were at POR and had breakfast at Boatwrights. Good place for breakfast.

Same as sugermouse...........our family dinner at our last night in WDW is Teppanyaki. Six trips and looking forward to our trip #7.

The last two times BF and I went together to WDW (I went once with a friend only), we had our last dinner at AP in WL.

I think this year I'm going to plan on Boma since we're staying at AKL the last 2 nights.

Last day we tend to go to the EMH park for a couple of hours and then go the Contemporary for a monorail ride and lunch since DS#1 gets a kick out of the toaster hotel

If we have time after that we might take the resort launch to WL and back

thanks

We like to have a character breakfast the morning we leave. It's a nice way to say goodbye. Also, the kids leave on a full stomach and usually take a nap once we start driving.

Our favorite thing to do the last night is to view the Epcot Illuminations. This is usually our second time watching these awesome fireworks!!!! What a great ending to a spectacular visit. Then we leave the park singing the music and reminiscing about our stay.

Our last night we like to watch Illuminations, then sit at the bakery in Future World & watch the fountain perform as the other guests filter out. When the park closes we head back to our resort & walk around one last time before heading back to our room.

We always do Mk the first morning and last night of our trip. It is what I think of (the castle, the characters, the magic) when I think of WDW so I need a fix when we get there and that is the last memory that I have of each trip.

Well we went in April this year last time for our first time. And what we did on the last day seems to be a real cool way to spend the last day. We would rent one of the mouse boats after we close the door to our resort for the last time :( and ride it around and then head off to DTD for some shopping. But who knows this time.

No real last night traditions but the last day we always go to MK as the last park. When we leave we say our "official" goodbye as we leave MK. I guess it's the park that most symbolizes the spirit of WDW for us. Most times we get a hot dog at Casey's as kind of a last meal.

On our last evening, I pack and cry (lol)!

We really don't have a tradition...just kind of eat where we haven't had a chance to yet. We usually don't make it a later night because we almost always have some awful 6:00 AM flight and need to be up at 4:00 or something...
