Any guests arriving November 1 to 30 receive FP+ testing invites?

We check in Nov. 14 at WL.

An hour or so ago I did reach a very helpful CM in IT who was able to finally locate our grandson's ticket and she got it added to MDE under our reservation. :thumbsup2 I had linked tickets for myself, DH and DGS but only the 2 adult tickets were showing up on MDE. My phone call lasted about 25 minutes but I'm so happy that she stuck with me and got it corrected rather than telling me that it would be worked on and should be fixed in "x" amount of time.

Now I'm joining the rest of you in just waiting for the date that we November guests can order customized Magic Bands and select FP+.

Congrates on getting your grandson linked but I just do not understand this entire IT thing.

I haven't gone to MDE no need I know it is too early for MB's and I know no FP+ for me since my tix are not linked.

What I don't understand with IT is I have read time and time again IT is "fixing" linking problems by order of your checkin date and now I read someone checking in long after me(I check in 11/3) talks to a CM who fixes the issue for them.

I think the inconsistency with this entire situation is what frustrates me the most. :headache:

Can you please let me know what number you called to find someone who corrected it on the spot? I'll give it a shot.

I have read a few people who booked through travel agents saying they have been contacted by their travel agent to inform them they will be getting MB and FP+ (on groups and other forums) these are all people checking in during November. Has anyone here booked with a travel agent heard anything?

The issue that is being handled based on check-in date is the one with Undercover Tourist tickets. Other issues, that are not UCT-specific, are being handled as they come up. The UCT ticket issue if a bigger one that is being worked on over the next few weeks. There is no inconsistency with the situation.

I have had tremendous luck with the CMs at (407) 939-7765 (press 2 for the help desk). If you are having an Under Cover Tourist ticket issue, however, they will not be able to do anything more than the other CMs have. That issue is a bigger one that will take a little time to fix.

I beg your pardon but there is most definitely an inconstancy

I call and a CM tells me I need to make sure my friends and family is sharing everything which I do and call back

Next call a CM tells me there is not a thing they can do since I bought my tickets thru UT I must wait and go to guest services after checkin to have them fix it so I can use FP+

Another guest calls and is switched to a CM who escalates the same exact issue I am having and tells them they will be fixed

Disney CM's are notorious for giving out inconsistent information which results in guests having to make repeated calls for the same exact problem.

Infact the survey even asks how many times you have called about the same problem so they are well aware there is a problem of guests having to make repeat calls.

Yes, your travel agent will be notified that their client has been selected for MB testing and they will in turn notify you

Okay, I agree that is an inconsistency, but you were responding to someone with a completely different issue and complaining that the inconsistency frustrated you.

As far as I have seen, they haven't dealt with anyone with UCT issues immediately. All of them are going to a different department that is dealing with the specific issue. If someone was allowed to "line jump" then I agree that is wrong.

The survey is a general one that deals with all WDW calls. It asks how many times you have called for an issue, not a problem. The issue could be making requests on a reservation or changing your reservation dates. I get that question all the time when I do the surveys, even if I have just made a room reservation.

The poster I commented on did not identify what type of ticket she was having a problem with(see above), only that she had linked her DGS ticket and it dd not show up under the reservations which is exactly my issue, I linked my tickets which show up under DH and my MDE accounts separately just not under reservations ergo the reason for my comment since the poster I was responding to checks in on Nov 14 and was helped and had the issue corrected imediately.

Reading all of your posts are so encouraging. I spoke with a CM on Sunday and questioned the FP+ system and she informed me that testing for all resorts were scheduled to end October 31st and that no additional testing would be done. Hope she is wrong:confused3!

I was able to link my AP voucher to MDE. Thanks to the posters here I tried scanning using the app on my iPhone and scanned in the back of the green credit card like vouchers.:cool1:
BTW, I think the reason they said testing would be over Oct 31 is because people here have said it will go live, November 1.

But you can't assume that the two problems have the same root. I also had an issue where I linked a ticket and it didn't show up. It was an UCT ticket but was not caused by the same problem many of you are having. The issue was that this person was in my Friends instead of in my Family so I couldn't see her ticket. IT fixed the issue in less than a minute.

That’s just not the case in general. Maybe it’s not supposed to be, but in the real world it’s a crap shoot when you call. It depends on who you happen to get on the phone if they will fix your issue or tell you they need pass it to IT who will get to it later.

We had two problems- first my wife had two different logins- one Disney and a second for DVC (years ago they forced you to have a different one for DVC).

Second my wife and I had a reservation for us and our kids. My 2 youngest are under 13 so they are not allowed to have their own profiles- they HAVE to be sub accounts of me or my wife. So they were set up as subs to my wife. Then there was a second reservation for us and my sister, brother in law, niece and nephew. My sister happened to link that reservation to her profile first- that creates sub accounts for everyone on her account. You are able to invite everyone to link up their accounts - but since there is no way to “invite” a sub account- there is no way to link to a kid under 13- and there wound up 2 instances of my kids as sub accounts under 2 different adults.

In both cases we called in and spoke to someone who had to “escalate’ to IT and promised a resolution within a few days . After a week past we called and were able to get another CM that fixed the issue. (And actually with the dueling logins situation there was a 3rd interaction in between with a CM who actually made things worse- her fix was take my wifes account and make her friends with herself #2 rather than actually fixing it. )

I don't think that's true. She must have been having a bad day

Those travel agents are giving incorrect Information. I am a travel agent and I just read the email from Disney re magic bands and fast pass plus and the official word told to us today or yesterday is that testing ends October 31st. No other information about November or beyond testing was given. I am freakishly stalking because I want a magic band and fp+ for my November trip :).

I am frustrated with our trip and the magic band/fast pass + option as a possibility because we booked with a TA and reading here I saw that if your fp+ is not valid for a ride closure or whatever you receive an email notifying you of this.

IT told me all communication from Disney would go to my agent and she would be expected to contact me. Even these notifications. I don't expect my TA to be able to update me like that on my trip, its unreasonable, so now instead of being excited about the chance at MB and FP+ I might be happy if its not testing or rolled out for our trip....

Communications regarding your booking will go to the TA, but notifications regarding ride closures will go to you.
