Any guests arriving November 1 to 30 receive FP+ testing invites?

I had a very interesting conversation with an IT cast member yesterday that I wanted to share. I called to discuss an issue I was having with the MDE app. While I had her on the phone, I asked her if I will be part of the Fastpass+ testing (I check in to Poly on November 4). She said that barring anything going wrong with testing that I would be a testing participant. She volunteered that so far the testing has gone great and so there is no reason to expect the testing to be rolled back by then. She also said that they were told an invitation to test will be sent to November check ins in early October.

I found that all very interesting and decided to play dumb to see what else I could squeeze out of her. So I asked how many Fastpass+'s I would get if I was a part of testing and if I could still use the old Fastpass system in addition to Fastpass+. She said that all she is allowed to tell me is that participants in the testing get three Fastpass+'s plus the benefit of using the legacy Fastpass. But then she added that when they switch from "testing" to "full implementation" she understands that the double dip benefit will be gone, but more than three Fastpass+'s will be available. Who knows if that is true or not, but I found it to be interesting.

Anyway, if she is actually informed and telling the truth, then I would expect November check ins to be getting Fastpass+ opportunities on MDE in the near future. We shall see.

DF and I have scanned our AP vouchers and it worked no problem. Mom and Dad tried there's and turns out the ones they bought at the Disney store were from 2005 and are too old to be linked. I think it depends on what type of vouchers they are.

Same thing happened to me. My parents have regular tickets because it will be a while before they go again. I bought an AP voucher at the Disney Store (trying to save shipping). It was from 2005. I was on the phone for the better part of 3 hours only to be told I had to wait until I get there. They did say once I'm able to, I can go ahead and schedule my parents' fast passes and they would copy their fast pass schedule on to mine so we can all ride together. I would advise anyone hoping to participate in the testing to NOT buy their vouchers at the Disney Store.

My family of 6 is staying at ssr nov 10 to the 16th and we have not been able to do nothing, it pops up then says im not within a persons... also was wondering because weare dvc and 3 of us have premium annual passess.. any info would help

That's my plan too! I figure the extreme uptick in message traffic will tell me when I can customize my MBs or pick FP+!

Yes, I figure when I check in in the morning and there are 10 pages more than the night before, I'd best block out the whole morning to figure out FP+ selections!

I log on to MDE daily, but don't have a November reservation. I do have a December one (plus October that we've already received our MagicBands for).

I had a similar problem and discovered, after three phone conversations with IT that there were multiple accounts linked to my email address. When I first started using Disney websites an email was not required, so I had just a member name. Then, a few years later when an email address was required, I added that thus creating account No. 2. How the third account was created I don't know, but they were all mine and two of them had a different password. It took IT and me three phone calls and almost two weeks to sort it all out, but we did! Keep calling; and be patient, it will be fixed.

And, by the way... UT tickets are not a problem. The CM was wrong. They are a "recognized Disney seller." At least for now, anyway!

This was my problem too!
Member name, email, 2 another accounts with same email!

I think it happen when I opened up Disney rewards, Disney store, and Disney world account..
I didn't know you could use your old account

However there was a VERY smart CM that figured it out the 1st time I called!


Ps. Checking in on oct 31st.. Check my account to find customize magic bands, on Monday..

When I call IT they told me that next week we should all be getting emails! (Hope it's true)
They do not send out the emails until everything as loaded.. But b/c my check in date was in oct. I got access to it early..
The BIG rides are loaded but most shows and M&G are not..

We check in Nov 1st and I check MDE every morning and at night before bed to see if FP+ is open for us. I can't wait to get access as I am an OCD Disney planner! I will post unless someone beats me to it

We check in Nov. 14 at WL.

An hour or so ago I did reach a very helpful CM in IT who was able to finally locate our grandson's ticket and she got it added to MDE under our reservation. I had linked tickets for myself, DH and DGS but only the 2 adult tickets were showing up on MDE. My phone call lasted about 25 minutes but I'm so happy that she stuck with me and got it corrected rather than telling me that it would be worked on and should be fixed in "x" amount of time.

Now I'm joining the rest of you in just waiting for the date that we November guests can order customized Magic Bands and select FP+.
