Any guests arriving November 1 to 30 receive FP+ testing invites?

So I have read a lot of these threads, and I can't seem to find an answer to my question. I am arriving for a split stay on November 9th at OKW, and November 16th I am moving over to BCV.

BCV is currently testing, so I am hopeful to be able to use the magic bands.

Here is my issue: My in-laws are buying my tickets and my DH's tickets, they are going to buy them when we arrive at the resort. Will we be able to order Magic bands ahead of time? I would prefer a colored one, but will obviously not be able to link anything before I arrive, because I will not have my ticket.

I am not terribly concerned about being able to book my fastpasses ahead of time, I just want to get the band ahead of time :-)

Any thought?

You should be able to order Magic Bands. People on the Beach Club/ Yacht Club Facts thread have been talking about their experiences with the Magic Bands for quite a few weeks now, since YC was one of the first test resorts. You might get a good answer over there. :)

My 60 day mark should arrive at 9pm Pacific time tonight and I'm hoping to online check in at Pop. I'm hoping MDE will also let me customize our MB's shortly after checking in online. I don't expect to be able to select FP+ as I have yet to receive my passes from UT.

I will report back later tonight if anything exciting happens ;)

We check into Pop on 11/2 and haven't been able to customize MBs or select FP+s yet. I did online check-in right at the 60 day mark.

In hindsight, we should have checked In on Nov 2 to also qualify for the free dining plan. :(. I paid $935 Canadian (approximately US$ 890 for nine nights) for Standard room on hotels.com. We will be there from Nov 4-13 so maybe we will see you there. Did you request a specific building?

For those of you not yet at the 60 day mark, what does the MB section of your MDE profile say?

I ask because I am not yet at 60 days, and when I go to the MB section of MDE, it asks me to link my tix or reservations. I have a MYW package booked so I enter the confirmation number for my reservation, and it says the reservation is already linked to WENDY M***'S account (me). Meanwhile, I view "My Reservations" on MDE and everything is already in there and correct. I'm concerned something might be linked to the profile I have set up under a different email address. I will feel better if it says this for everyone who is not yet at the 60 day mark!

I could customize my magic bands at 67 days out - maybe before then but that's when I noticed it. Could make FP+ selections at 60 days, had not checked in online yet so checking in has nothing to do with either MB or FP+. Staying at Pop, checking in 10/31.

I was seeing the same thing until I hit 60 days, then a new tab for customizing bands appeared.
 
I got something different today.

I'd go to FP+ under My Reservations, and it would give me information about the program.

I'm now getting a screen with a calendar, with a note saying that I'm not on my party's FP+ window. I hope this means we're in.

That's what I thought, but when I hit "60 days" the calendar doesn't pull up anymore. :( I'm booked for AKL on the 3rd of November.

We are checking in at POR on Nov 2nd. I was able to check in online this morning, but still have no options to order MBs or FB+ ;-(
 
Still no love from fastpass+. Any lucky November travelers (whose trip begins in November)?
 
I was told by a resort center CM on the phone the other day that there are currently no plans to "test" beyond Oct 31.
He said in November and December MBs would be sent to AP holders and DVC members for use and the Jan 1 is the current projected full roll out date.

Of course that might be the plan right now but we all know plans can change any minute with Disney.
I'm going in mid November and he said I would have one because I am an AP holder.

We'll see....
 
I don't think they will stop testing or stop adding resorts to the test over November/December. A lot of guests (including myself) have been told by CMs that there will be more resorts added for November and a few days ago one even told me they were hoping to have all resorts ready for testing and loaded into their systems (so FP+ available for all onsite guests) by the end of October. Yes, I have taken this with a pinch of salt but from what others are saying CMs are going out of their way to ensure guests know about the MDE website and app and advising people to make accounts if they haven't already. I would say that sounds like they are at least expecting to get it rolled out to all onsite guests sooner rather than later.

This happened to me. When I called to make my final payment the CM made it a point to ask if I had heard about MDE and told me to download the app to my phone so that I'd be ready to book my fastpasses in advance. When I asked him when that was going to start he said, "All I can tell you is that its coming soon, so they want everyone to be aware of it."
