My 5 yr old nephew is Star Wars crazy. Any suggestions for a birthday present. I'm visiting WDW he isn't .

They have these hot wheel sized cars called Disney Racers in most gift shops and the store at the Star Tours exit you will especially find the Star Wars themed ones. Each character has their own car themed after them. The best way I can describe them....is that if Darth Vader were a car he'd look like this, etc. they are about $6 each. My sons have collected them for years...we have Buzz, Cheshire Cat, Goofy, etc...not just Star Wars. At that age, my kids also liked any PVC figurines or plushes with Disney characters dressed as Star Wars characters...Goofy Darth Vader, Stitch Yoda, Jedi Mickey, Darth Donald, etc

Well, my then 5 year old loved the Han Solo Blaster he and DH got to share.

Alas, no more blasters. Sigh.

If I had another 5 year old (come on universe, please?) I'd probably do my Star Wars shopping at Target, not Disney, anymore. Not because I'm blaster crazy, but because young boys tend to be. My pacifist "no fake guns!" side was worn down the day my then 3 year old, who had been on Buzz Lightyear a few months before, *bit a gun shape* into his toast and started going "pew pew" with it.

My kids loved the Jedi robes you can buy in the star tours gift shop as well as the make your own light saber.

If you have the mde app you can get the shopping app through the drop down menu and see what all they have to offer at the stores. There are Acton figures, cars, ships, legos, lightsabers

WHAAAAT???! I had no idea....that is amazing! My DD8 is a Star Wars fanatic (#proudofher) so she will be all over this! If only they came in adult sizes too.....LOL
Thanks for posting!

As many have stated there is plenty of amazing Star Wars gear for your little jedi! I suggest heading to the gift shop near Star Tours for cute things like the plushes or the lightsabers. May the Force Be With You:darth::chewy::yoda:

There is so much Star Wars gear I don't know where to begin! The best places to find it will be Tatooine Traders (HS, exit of Star Tours), Mickey's Star Traders (MK, Tomorrowland), Mission: SPACE (Epcot, the shop at the exit from the ride), and the newish Star Wars store at Disney Springs (I can't remember it's new name - used to be D-Street). Honestly though you'll probably find yourself tripping over Star Wars merch in most of the stores.

If he likes Tsum Tsum, there are new Star Wars ones abound. I like the idea of the racers. I think you can get a Mister Potato Head with Star Wars parts too (not sure what is available for that).

The Mr. Potato head parts can be found at Once Upon a Toy at Disney Springs. In that same store the entire back section is Star Wars merchandise. The new SW store on the West Side is Star Wars Galactic Outpost.

They come in adult sizes! My husband has one!

Go to Tatooine Traders next to Star Tours. So much stuff! My son built his own light saber and hasn't put it down since we got back!

Thank you so much for the great suggestions. I really like the idea of the Jedi Robe. Do they still have the backpacks? My boys (16,15,12,12) liked the Yoda and Chewie backpacks. They used them for school and sleep overs. Reminded them of the trip.

I'm pretty sure several of us will be building lightsabers in September! Does anybody know if you can build Kylo Ren's? I know they have single and double bladed (Darth Maul) but the new one is awesome!
