Any GOOD reviews of Grosvenor Resort?

We will be staying at the Grosvenor Resort in DTD. This trip is a gift from DH's uncle, and he made all the reservations and plans for us, so staying else where is NOT an option. All the bad reviews I've heard really upset me....does anyone please have anything good to say about this resort??? I could really use some good reports!! We will have a rental car so I'm not worried about transportation, just the rooms and the pool area ecr. Thanks....

I also made reservations to Grosvenor, the problem is on Trip Advisor they had an update about a fire that happened at the beginning of the month. I am not going to stay there now. It sounds like the hotel did not do a very good job evacuating everyone.
