Any free dining pins or packages been offered so far this year?
Just curious, how are you eligible to receive these pins? I know there's no guarantee but I'm a complete newbie to Disney World planning
There were Free Dining pins for select dates in January - March, 2014, but there hasn't been any general public 2014 promos released yet. There should be a some FD dates for possibly late August - September, within the next few weeks.Any free dining pins or packages been offered so far this year?
I am on the phone now and was told we had the free dining pin!!! I am booked at POR over Christmas!!
Can I ask how PIN codes work? What information do you need to give if phoning to ask if there's a PIN code attached to your account? Is it just your name?
I think all you need to do is simply call Disney Reservations and then ask them if they have any pin codes attached to your name. The recently released free dining falls both out of our dates and doesn't include POR, which is a must for us. I was going to let the action die down a bit, then call to find out if we have any.
Good luck.
So after receiving a PIN and booking yesterday, I went to the Disney site this morning and booked a Vacation DVD, and promptly recieved a second PIN code in my email this afternoon (good for FD until the end pf Sept. at almost all resorts... POR and FQ included).
It's basically the same rate, just a completely different PIN code.
So they're out there people... have faith!
Not even on the system apparently. Odd because I just booked CBR through the US website and MNSSHP tickets. CM said she'd never seen a PIN code outside the US. Oh well, just need to get excited about CBR! At least we still have free DDP.
Pffft! I got 4 PIN codes this year for WDW and 12 (count em'... 12!!!) for Disneyland last year... and I live in Canada. My relatives in Ireland received PIN codes for WDW before I did, so they are definitely out there.
I think the more trips you take (booking with WDW specifically and not through a TA or somewhere like Orbitz or Expedia) the more chance you have of receiving future PINs. I could be completely wrong, but it sounds like they couldn't find you in the system, so maybe once they have you there, you'll start getting the codes![]()
