Any Fabric Paint Experts?

I was thinking of attempting to use fabirc paint on a few items for our next trip. Does anybody with experience with these have any brand to recommend?

I never personally had good luck with fabric paints.. After a wash or two.. it was peeling.. maybe i did something wrong tho.
