I've only bought/sold on Ebay but recently purchased a book on Half.com. It was listed as "brand new". The book came and it is obvious it isn't new. The white cover has scuff marks and crayon or colored pencil marks and the cover itself is used - ie when you lay flat on the table the front cover flips up on it's own. Also, inside the pages are dogeared as well as a few are written on.
This would not be a problem had the seller listed as a used book right?
I have contacted the seller the day I rec'd it....Friday but have yet to hear anything back. I realize it was a holiday weekend. This seller has 100% feedback so I am not sure what to think.
What do you think a resonable resolution would be and how long do I wait to hear from the seller before filing a claim?
