Any Dis folks in the Sarnia area?

Would still be sitting on the bridge if it weren't for Nexus! :drive:

The very first time we used our Nexus cards and drove straight across the bridge with the other lane backed up from one end to the other, I couldn't help but giggle like some kind of maniac!!!!!

Ahhh, the bridge - I don't have Nexus - YET - even with living just outside Sarnia and making at least monthly trips over to Sam's Club! What drives me almost to throw people off the bridge is when we have been waiting in line for 30 minutes and along comes this car flying down the very well marked Nexus lane, up to the front of the line, on comes the blinker and slides right in. I never let them in - they can hit my car before I'll let them in - just burns my @**!

We usually fly out of Detroit as well. I got Delta morning flights in February to Tampa for a really good price back in August - one of the flights is no longer showing and the rest are well over $100 more than what I paid - woohoo, for once I acted at the right time!!!

We're staying at the Airport Westin for the first time - cost $149 for four of us with the parking package for 10 days - but that's still a good price I think. We won't be able to take advantage of the security check point though, as it doesn't open until after we will need to be at our gate, oh well, hopefully things aren't too busy that early in the morning. I requested a runway view room - I think that would be way cool, keeping my fingers crossed!

I am actually looking at the Westin hotel right now for January. A runway view room would just thrill my son. I am not getting package prices for $149 though, I will have to keep searching...

The $99 plus a penny for valet parking promo is on until Dec. 31 for Thurs - Sat night stays only. I haven't stayed there in January before so not sure if they offer a similar deal later on. They definitely offer better deals on the weekends - no business travelers I guess so they try to fill the rooms with families like us!

We always fly out of Flint. The airport is very small and the park in fly is $5 per day max $30 per week. We fly Airtran which has a direct flight at 7am and home is 8pm. I've always paid less than $200 round trip per person. It is about 20 mins longer than to detroit, but well worth it.
