DISNEY TRIP 2004 ITINERARY …..

September 30 ….. (1) pick up rental car at Hertz in Albany @ 4pm
(2) pack cars and get to bed early

October 1 Friday……. (1) leave home at 3:30 or 4 am
(2) drive to logan airport in Boston
(3) check in @ 8 am
(4) depart logan @ 9:17 am
(5) arrive in Orlando about 2:30 pm
(6) pick up cars at ALAMO
(7) find home in Orlando
(8) let kids swim and some of the adults go shopping

October 2 Saturday…. Seaworld
11 am lunch with the sharks

October 3 Sunday…. (1) Be at MK by 8:30 AM for a 9:45 breakfast at the Castle
(2) MK

October 4 Monday…. (1) MGM
(2) Medieval times arrive by 6 for museum and tour then dinner @ 7:30

October 5 Tuesday…. Universal studios

October 6 Wednesday…. IOA

October 7 Thursday… DOWN DAY DO WHAT WE WANT

October 8 Friday…. (1) Animal Kngdom leave @ 3:30
(2) MNSSHP (dinner at Liberty tree tavern @ 4:30)

October 9 Saturday… (1) EPCOT End the trip with fireworks
(2) pack up the cars

October 10 Sunday… (1) Leave the house at 5 am
(2) check in for flight home @ 6 am
(3) arrive in Boston 10:30 am and drive home

your itinerary looks good to me! it seems you've got your days loosely planned, which is what you need when travelling with a crowd (and not your own family!)

may i ask why you are renting/driving to boston rather than just flying out of albany? i know flights from albany are rather reasonable...

We are flying out of Boston because
since we have 8 people going and we all need to fly together we needed to book early and the best deal out of Albany was Southwest at 94 down and 114 back
we went out of Boston for a total of 126 per person
even renting the car we saved a ton of $$$$

Your flight home is at 6am and you will be leaving the vacation home at 5am? I think you may need a littel more time. Post your itinerary on the Disney Tips board because over there you will get more responses.

Looks like you have a great week planned.
My DW and I will be doing the same basic thing as you on Oct 8th. We will be starting the day at AK and then heading to MK for MNSSHP at night. We are staying at Pop and taking advantage of AK's early entry (Magic Hour) that day. It may get busy because of this so make sure to arrive as early as you can.

The only thing I would suggest is to take plenty of breaks in the afternoons. Hope to see you there!!
