Any chance of any deals week before Easter?

Our Spring break will be the week before Easter in 2013 and we are looking at going during that time. I know around Easter is very busy. Seems from what I've found its the week following Easter is when more of the Spring breaks are. Is there any chance of discount or deals for the week before We are debating between Coronado Springs, Carribean Beach or Pop Century...but plan on making ressies this week. There seems to be plenty of rooms still available

We went this year the week before Easter and had "free dining" I can not remember what the other specials where, I did book my trip in September. Which I think is when the deal was released (or when I heard about it) So there is a chance !!!

Easter 2012 was April 8th. Free dining for the general public ran through 3/31 according to Mousesavers. You would have had to check in on the Saturday before Easter Week in order to get the discount package for Easter Week. Originally, the discounts were announced on 8/3/2011 and then the booking window was extended on 10/27/2011.

Following historical data, we should already be looking at discounts for next spring and yet we are still looking at fall free dining offers. Disney is not coming out with their discounts as early as they used to. IF Disney offers free dining for the Easter period, I would not expect to see it until after we have passed the last day for booking fall free dining.

Free dining would be nice with my two kids being "adults" when it comes to eating at disney. I will have to keep my eyes open and fingers crossed

I too arrived on 3/31 this year to get free Dining through Easter Week. It was really nice, but totally unexpected. I'm not sure I'd count on seeing it again.

In 2011, we went 10 days before Easter and I was able to get AP room discounts at POFQ for the first few days of our trip. We moved to DVC after those first few days so I can't remember if the discount would have been available for the whole week before Easter or not.

This year discounts were blacked out (except I did get a AAA discount) for Easter time frame and it really showed in the parks and at the resorts. We did a split stay at 2 resorts (WL and BC) and were upgraded at both resorts and told by the CM's that they were very empty. Also, the parks were manageable and none closed this year due to full capacity as in the past years.

So, my point is, I would hope disney would offer some sort of deal to get some resort rooms filled for next Easter. I keep checking different date variations and resorts for Easter time and every category is open and available.
