We are arriving on Sat(4-8) at noon-then to CS for 5 nites. Any adivice for first day plans-2y girl, 5 and 7 boys??? We have 6 day hopper passes-I was thinking about going to MK?

Some guides suggest not going to MK first thing because then the kids are disappointed when they get to the 'less kid friendly' parks, especially Epcot. I personnally vote for MK because my kids love it and it has the most things for them to enjoy.

On our first trip, we arrived similiar time to you and went to MK, rode the train around to Toontown to get a feel for the park and ended up riding Goofy's Barnstormer with almost no wait and then went to Fantasyland with almost no waits there as well. I think because it was later in the day the little kids crowd had gone back to the resorts.

I would definately not go to DS. They have Extra Magic Hours on 4/8 and I here that you should stay away from all of the parks when they have EMH because they get overrun. :sunny:

We usually rest the first day because traveling seems to wear the kids out, and we like to start fresh the first full day. Sometimes we have a character meal and then explore our resort.

However, if we had passes to use, MK is the place to go. Nothing says welcome to WDW like the MK. Because of your kids ages, I'd head straight through the castle (so magical) to Fantasyland for those fun rides (winnie the pooh, peter pans flight, Dumbo, etc).

Have a great time!!

We will be going with DD7 and DD6months. The first day we will arrive around noon, enjoy resort and pool, maybe head to DTD and then we have PS and Chef Mickey's. We will start the next day at MK, a little more rested. But if you have the pass for the day, i definitely agree and would do the kid rides at MK the first day. they will be sooooo excited. :sunny:

Thanks for the great advice-we will head to MK after we arrive.
Fantasyland sounds like a good start. My original plan was to hang out at the resort, but we ended up with 6 day hopper passes instead of 5 for a dollar or so more. I have not been to DW in over 7 years and this is the first trip for the kids! I have been researching for countless, exciting hours! I had no idea how much time this would take! We are counting down---17 days!
