On our MNSSHP day, we're planning to spend the day at MK, but have dinner planned at WCC. Is it possible to park at Wilderness Lodge in the morning so we can leave our costumes in the car and get them after dinner? And, if we do that, does the ferry keep running after MNSSHP so we can get back to our car?

The only way you could really do this without fear of being towed is to pay extra for valet parking at WL. Otherwise for reservations, you can show up a little bit early for it and they'll let you park there for the duration of the dinner (and you can walk around the lobby, shop, etc.)

But wouldn't it be easier to simply park at the TTC (MK's parking lot)? That way you just park there all day without fear of towing, go to MK, ride the WL boat or bus to WL and eat at WCC, boat or bus back to MK and enjoy MNSSHP. Once MNSSHP is over you catch the ferry or monorail to the TTC, get your car and go. IMO, this is easier. I'd just rent a locker at MK to store the costumes.

I love my MNSSHP day. I wouldn't want to be off site for dinner then get back into he MK. That is a loss of a lot of time. Can you do lunch then be good for the day just finish and wear costumes to the park? Or even have dinner in the park?

Dd and I went to he park to get her pics with the early characters hat leave after noon. We had lunch at BOG, mid afternoon rode th bus back to the resort where I cooled off in the pool an hour and he freshened up.

We partied hearty later just grabbing a Casy's hotdog last resort as to sit for he pared with it. I thought it was great though. Just hit the spot as I sat by he curb waiting for the second parade.

Technically resort parking is for guests of that resort and people shopping or dining at that resort. If you are not staying there you are expected to move your car after dining, shopping and maybe checking the resort out. The guard at the gate may give you a parking permit that says two hours limit on it. It's really not fair for guests staying at that resort to not be able to find parking spots at their resort. As another poster said, why not just park at the TTC, take the ferry or monorail over to MK, and ride the boat over to WL to eat dinner.

Just FYI: Feb 2011 we did see a car being towed at the Contemporary resort. It had one of those tire blocker thingies attached to the back wheel and there were two CMs in suits out there with the driver of the tow truck. We didn't see anyone who looked like a guest nearby.
