antenna topper woes

We just returned from a trip to WDW about a week ago, and since then troubles have befallen BOTH antenna toppers I bought.

1. The Tigger topper I bought for 16-yr-old DSis was stolen from her car the first day she took it to school.

2. The cats got into the plastic shopping bag, batted around and then left lots and lots and lots of tooth marks on the Pooh topper (even tore off the little ears!)

Could someone please tell me if there is a place online to order new toppers? DSis will hang hers from her rearview mirror in the locked car this time, and mine won't leave the box until I'm out of the house and away from the cats!

Do you still have a receipt from Disney? There should be a phone number on the bottom for Disney World Merchandise


You just call them, tell them what you are looking for and describe it, they look it up, you give them your CC number and then ship it to you

I had the regular black mickey head antenna topper, and it was stolen at work. I replaced it a couple times, and it was stolen each time. Eventually I gave up.

I had a special white bunny rabbit topper - Mum & Dad got me it in Jan 06 I think. Someone stole it from my car too!!! (I do confess to living in a naff area though!)

I stocked up in July on new toppers and will try and get a few more in November.

Oh my.... I can't believe someone would steal something so.... so silly. Not that the toppers are silly, but what a silly thing to steal. I swear, that is nuts, I would have never thought someone would steal a topper. Especially because its not like they thought, hey I would like one of those to put on my car, I guess I'll take it... instead they were probably just being hateful and did it for "fun"

We used to get ours stolen on a regular basis, ticked me off! So my DH put silicone/glue in the hole the antenna fits into and we have not had another one stolen. We found if they had to work to get it off they moved on.

Aren't cats funny creatures.....

I have seen lots of toppers on ebay..

i have had at least 10 stolen but agree with pp, if you put some glue on it they won't be pinched *** it's too much work to take them. i agree what a silly thing to want to steal but really annoying when it does

I haven't had any stolen, but the terrible wind storm that came through Ohio about 3 weeks ago, wacked one of the ears off of my Mickey! I'm in the market for a new one too! That laughingplace web site looks great, I'll find one.

I've had about 6 stolen through the years...the last straw was when my Hawaiian Mickey was stolen (They came out during the first Lilo and Stitch movie) I loved that thing...

Now I just collect them.

But, I think I have to try the silicone...what a fantastic idea! Thank you!!

I have seen several sites that sell little suction cups with a spring on top you can put the topper on, and then stick it your dash. You still get to see it, but can't lose em.

My brother had problems with people stealing his stuff off of the antennas. (Not just Disney ones) So he thought he would be a smartbutt and put a very small windsock that was tied so many time to it. Well, someone broke off his antenna!!!! He reported that one to the police.

What is the going rates for the antenna toppers at the world? I actually plan on getting my kitties a couple just to play with since they love that foamy type stuff. Then I also want to get some to hang off of the rearview mirror since we don't really have an antenna anyways.

I purchased a Mickey antenna topper on our last WDW trip. My DS was a year old at the time, he grabbed one of the ears and bit it, he didnt break it off, but he left his teeth print on it. About a week later, I was taking DH some lunch while he was working. I get back to the car, and my topper was gone! I was so upset. About a month later my DH comes home and hands me a topper. And sure enough, my sons teeth mark was on the ear! I couldnt believe the nerve of people!!!
