I will def tell her it was a surprise! I think she is smart enough to know the difference and should accept that explanation. I am hoping though that we wont talk about it again until June

The window in the shower is interesting. Not only can you watch TV in there, it also allows the other people in the room to get a cheap thrill! I really like the double heads though...if only our shower at home was that nice.

Aw, that stinks your niece spilled the beans. I agree w/ what Nancy said -- just tell her you are trying to surprise them, not keep secrets. I'm sure she won't care once June rolls around and you guys are all at WDW!

I just wanted to say hi, too. I had PM'd you last night about the stroller swap and decided to read your trip report and pre trip report. It was very entertaining. I especially loved the inserts from your mom! She sounds like my mom.
So when I read your TR I didn't really get a feel if you liked All Star Sports or not. Obviously it's different from Beach Club, but did you like it? DD wants to stay there. I'm not sure why, she's not really into sports. Good luck at keeping your secret! I stink at things like that! We were planning to go in September for DD's birthday, but I can't wait that long and we're trying to plan a trip sooner. We'll see!

Oh no!! If you think she really knows, I'd explain it to her that it was meant to be a surprise, and include her in the rest of the surprise planning so she doesn't tell the other kiddos. Make her a part of it so that she does her best to keep it a secret, too.

Hey, everyone! It is so nice to read all the input that everyone does . I love seeing all the different comments, one-liners, and puns that all of you have. O K, DD , the segway thingee, that was what I said I needed to get around to everything, but none of the people I saw on them would loan me theirs, something having to do with a thing called "liabilities?"
Oh, well, maybe I can save a few thousand and get one of my own. As far as AS Sports is concerned, I wouldn't mind staying there again, I mean, it was clean as a whistle, 2 pools, food court, gift shop, bus pick-up and drop-off about every 15 minutes or so to all the parks, even an airport shuttle bus. The food court has about 5 or 6 different places to choose from. The staff is very nice, friendly, and eager to help any way they can. The morning that Delta got separated from us, I stopped one, told them what was going on, and immediately, she was on 2-way radio in 2 or 3 languages with an alert to help look for him. Fortunately, DD spotted him, and we had him back in our arms in less than the longest 5 minutes I can remember. As for the niece(my grandaughter ) is concerned, yep, she would tell, but not to spoil the surprise, only to share in the excitement. of another trip to WDW. Speaking of other trips, I have been going through photos, picking out shots for my scrapbook, and I ran across photos of our 2007 trip there.......sigh......., brought back some fond memories.. Well, I guess that is about all I am going to add this time. Baby Tau wanted to stay with me today instead of going to day-school, and he sure is quiet.......I guess I had better go check on him, hunh?

Hi PrincessMorgan, Thank you so much for stopping by. It is not that we didn't like All Stars... it just seemed disapointing after staying at the YC for 2 nights. Even though what we had was a free double upgrade - going from the YC to the ASSP seemed like a downgrade if that makes sense.
Had we just stayed at the ASSP I am sure I would have thought we got a great!

Also, I think our party size was a bit too much for the values. We had 3 adults, 5 kids and a 2 year old. We were very cramped in two value sized rooms. Other than the room size I can't complain about anything. The food court had good food but could get crowded and a little hectic with trying to get our large group through. The pools were great. The rooms were clean and the staff seemed nice. Walking to the parking lot was a lot closer than at the YC. Maybe we were just lucky but we never seemed to have to wait long for a bus.

Let me know if you have any specific questions and I will be happy to answer.

The Grand1 holds up to 17 people. It is in the 7 seas lagoon and is ran by the Grand Floridian (though I have heard reports of people docking at poly and ft wilderness lodge).

We are planning to rent it one night of our stay for a wishes cruise. It rents for an hourly rate of $480 regardless of your party size. We could also do 90 minutes at $720. We have 7, and our friends that are going at the same time have 5 so we could easily fit your family. With 16 people an hour would be $30 per person or $45 per person for 90 minutes.

We also have the option of having food catered from GF dining. Though I think it will be a little late for dinner so we were thinking of desserts!!!

We haven't decided yet which night because we are waiting on the MK hours (hopefully today)!

Ok. they went to rent a movie. I just now saw what I typed before. Sorry i was trying to finish with my laptop only open a few inches. He was desperately trying to see what I was doing. He asked if it was the Mickeymoms club and I said "YES, that is exactly what it was"

Now that the hours are posted I am thinking

Saturday - hang out in pool or Blizzard Beach if we arrive early enough
Sunday - Studios (so we can do the Star Wars stuff)
Monday - Magic Kingdom (open later and we are night owls)
Tuesday - Off day or Typhoon Lagoon
Wednesday - EPCOT
Thursday - Off day or DTD
Friday - Animal Kingdom - closes at 7:00 then
Friday night our Wishes Cruise at 10:00!
Saturday - sleep in, pack up and drive home
Sunday baby Tau's 3rd birthday!
Monday get pics developed, make scrapbook, then start planning next trip!!
