Are you telling your kids when you leave?? I wish I could wait that long to tell DM, but she has to have time to get her daycare sorted out and DF has to get time off from work. We'll be telling them beginning of June - DM's birthday is June 1 and DF's birthday is June 5.

We've had that stomach virus, too. I think it's been going around EVERYWHERE. I heard it was at WDW a while ago.

Tonight was a close one... on the way to target tonight the kids asked if we could take the seats out in the van on our trip to WDW so that they could sleep in their sleeping bags. At first I was like no you can't...wait!! What do you mean when we go to disneyworld? Who said anything about us going to Disneyworld??

Then they asked if we could have a surprise trip to WDW. I asked well how exactly you want me to surprise you? And they said for us to put them in the car and say we are going to wal-mart.

so I may just have to do that

No, they didn't. Chi is exactly like me in everyway. She got a gift card to wal-mart for Christmas and what did she buy - a PLANNER! She is only 8 and loves to make lists and to plan things. You should have seen how many lists she made for her birthday party.
And Baby Tau loves to fold wash cloths for me. He folds them and if they are not exactly perfect he refolds and refolds until he is satisfied.

I have successfully converted Chi and Omicron into being Disney Lovers since I have been working on them since birth. Delta and Alpha have only been my step-sons for almost 2 years and I must say that I think they are converted nicely as well

Hello and Welcome!!


Oh I am such the nerd! I made a spreadsheet (oh how I love my spreadsheets and lists ) using the menues from allears. I then calculated the total price for my family to dine at each restaraunt including 7.5% tax and 18% tip. Buffets were easy to calculate because it is one set price and there is no guess work. Menu restaraunts were easy for the kids because most kids meals are $7.59 including drink and dessert. Then I just guessed what my husband and I would likely purchase based on their entree' prices and drink (no dessert or appetizer for us if it is a la carte).

Based on my spreadsheet there are plenty of restaurants that my family can dine for less than $100. We will then just eat the rest of our meals in our room or bring snacks with us to the parks. If you are interested I can email you the spreadsheet for you to put in the numbers for your family.

Here are the restaurants that come in less than $100 for a family of 2 adults, 4 kids, and one toddler who will share a plate with me. (sorry about it not lining up just right).

First off...I definitely agree with you about how terrible it is they are releasing the park hours 90 days out. Planning is my therapy too, and it makes it far more stressful with only 90 days to work with. Obviously, no one asked us on this little idea!

Second...I love all the lists that you've included in here. It might make me more inclined to actually start breaking down my budget a bit more.

And, last but not least...love the flowers you got for Valentine's Day. How nice!

Hey, sorry it tookm so long to get back here, but I looked as close as I could at the crowd photo, and guess what, you just might be right. I think that is me there in that crowd. You know, the one with the totally confused look on her face. I think that is when I discovered that I was following the wrong person, and couldn't keep up wjth him. So, I called you to see where you were, and when I got there, I was trying to find your face in the crowd, or maybe one of the younguns' , but I guess I was just looking to hard. You kniw what they say about hiding in plain sight. Well, I got to get out of here for right now, and take a quick run to Winn Dixie.
