Wow. I don't know if I can keep up with.......oh, wait a minute, she said we would each have our own segway.......YEAH! Count me in! I can keep up that way. Sorry it has been so long since I have contributed anything, but I have been readingand keeping up. I have had a lot going on in my life, too. Like, the first week-end of this month, I had to go to six hours of continued education, so I can keep my Septic Tank Manufacturing license for another year. I will get a diploma and everything. WOOHOOO! Seriously, though, it is a good thing, and I always learn something new. By the way, our state-wide organization has been giving $1000.00 scholarships for about 20 years. They started with 2.......this year, there were 16 of them and 2 of those went to two of my grandchildren, Reese, and Whitney. Now, on to other things. I notice that DD hasn't written anything today, so I am going to spill the beans. YAY, her DH got the job. he started yesterday, in Burminham, again, so that means a long commute, again, but, hey, HE GOT THE JOB ! Sorry, DD, to spoil your good news, but I am just so excited for you two. So, does this mean WDW is on for October? Maybe I can go then. I can start saving, drive my own vehicle, get my own room, and we can connect every day. At least it is something to think about. But don't engrave me in stone yet, okay? I'll have to wait and see. Talk to you later

For those who don't know, this is my mama sorry mom. i thought that I did say that he got the job Oh well. i have been kinda busy rearranging schedules, taxes, spring break, etc that maybe I thought I mentioned but didn't. yes, DH got the job. Sort of. He started yesterday as a contract for hire type position. So far he likes all of the people he has met and is enjoying the job.

Never stayed at HRH but DH wanted to get married there. But alas, we couldn't afford it.

We did do MNSSHP last year and had a blast!! it was the highlight of our trip.

Oh sorry, Ip Dip is a goofy term we are using on another board (Enchanted) for a annual meet we have. Jodster from the Focker thread is coming to meet some Focker ladies and to hang out with us Ip Dippers. I was joking about liking your tickers because I am the one that made them .

He actually turned in his paper tonight and told his teacher he had enough points for an "A" so he wouldn't be coming back to class this semester . We both hated that class.

He has a two week class in the middle of May, another summer class, and his research paper. He should be completely done with his Masters by the end of June , so we will be celebrating that at WDW when we go in October.

Hello and Welcome!!


Oh I am such the nerd! I made a spreadsheet (oh how I love my spreadsheets and lists ) using the menues from allears. I then calculated the total price for my family to dine at each restaraunt including 7.5% tax and 18% tip. Buffets were easy to calculate because it is one set price and there is no guess work. Menu restaraunts were easy for the kids because most kids meals are $7.59 including drink and dessert. Then I just guessed what my husband and I would likely purchase based on their entree' prices and drink (no dessert or appetizer for us if it is a la carte).

I am a new member here on the Disboards. I am enjoying reading everyone's PTR and TR. Even though my next trip to the world is still over a year away , I am making notes and plans now as I don't want to forget anything.

I would love to have a copy of the spreadsheet you used, if you still have it! That would be fantastic and a great help in planning meals that may include large numbers. There are 3 of us going to sure, with 7 more potentially joining us.
