Our first trip to Hawaii and after 4 nights in Kauai and 3 on Maui we arrived at Aulani on Saturday and staying the week. I have read lots of posts regarding the availability (or lack of) of the pool chairs. I went for coffee around 8:45 and I have to say that there plenty of chairs available at the different pool areas. Sure, the front rows had limited chairs but we had many choices, including under umbrellas as well. I know zero about the booking patterns here, but the bellman who brought up our luggage on Saturday said that the occupancy was about 90% at that time but starting this week it was down to 70%. I want to say he mentioned something about schools/graduation (local?) having an impact, but he repeated that we were lucky in hitting the sweet spot for occupancy. Maybe there will be very few chairs very soon, but for now we are happy!
